One of the metro stations in Kolkata city

This is one of the metro stations in Kolkata which used to be full of passengers now looks like a deserted place due to corona infection. No passenger train is allowed to run on the flyover. Train runs only for few staffs who are currently working there. Few days ago, I was passing by this metro station. That time I took these photographs. Metro train has become a major transport in Kolkata because it doesn't face traffic like buses. And also it helps people reach their destination within few minutes, while bus takes hours to reach the same place.

A small bridge is made below the flyover so that the people and two wheeler can easily cross the river. However, there is one more bridge for large vehicles to cross the river. But this type of small bridge helps reduce the traffic on the large bridge.

This is a small garden made around the metro station. Some red flowers can be seen in the garden. Flower garden increases the beauty of a place.
