As a fan of the color blue as well as anything that has to do with water, I wanted to highlight the lake/ocean as well as the sky.

First I defogged your stunning original image to enhance the water tones. Next I clarified to brighten the blue and purple colors, creating an impression of an earlier time in the evening as the sun was setting. Lastly I added a little dark vignette to all four corners of the photo. Poof!

Thank you for the opportunity to have a bit of fun time playing around with photo processing on my Samsung Galaxy Note8 smartphone! It only took about 15 minutes.

That evening wasn’t so cold blue, but it could be. Why not )
Let's assume that the mini-contest has taken place and you won it!
