Three pretty flowers

I'm really enjoying these quick shoots in the back garden between the grind of parenting and work. To get an opportunity to take a breath and look around to find beauty in the little things.

Stopping to smell the roses

Its not the right time of year for roses where I live, but August is when all the garden is full of colour. Colour that we tended for that last few months just for these weeks. The weather is already starting to turn to fall, you can feel it in the evening. If I don't stop now, then the next time I blink it will be winter.
