Sunrise as seen from the Harbor walk

Sunrise as seen from the Harbor walk

I have been out most mornings for early morning walks as the sun rises, many of them on the Harbor walk which I shared shots of the actually walking path yesterday, for this post I will share a few shots of the sunrise one one of those morning walks.
I normally share the shots in the order I took them in a post, but sometimes one shot stands out for me and on occasion I slip that one in out of order at the start of the post and that's what I have done here.

To be honest I am not sure I can put into words why this one is my favorite of the shot sin this post but here it is, with rocks in the foreground.

This morning there was initially very little color but then a sliver of color opened up on the horizon, this is at the end of the harbor walk where i often park and start my walk

And a little bit along the walk way looking across to Fairhaven

I have been on so many walks and have so many photos to edit, a lot of my sunrise shots are three shots three exposure images that I merge together into a HDR image, and that takes time, along with the sunrise getting later each day I am having less time for editing images and hence why I am so behind and haven't shared many sunrise posts recently HDR however yesterday morning there was thunder storms and rain so I was able to edit a few

and further along the Harbor walk, you may be able to faintly make out the Hurricane barrier wall on the left

The morning I took these shots the water was so clear, the sly Moody and lovely subtle warm tones of sunrise on the horizon

And a last shot at the end of the Harbor Walk looking down on the Pier and the rising sun

And that’s all folks

Beautiful shots! I think the colors go together really well! The blue and orange contrast is really nice! This really does look like a peaceful place to walk!

I like watching the sunrise. It is a pity that in the city, because of the high-rise buildings, the most solemn moment is not visible when the sun rises from the horizon.

Thank you for sharing this moment!

Oh yeah, I love all of these photos - the last one is stunning with the dark clouds and the "exploding" sun on the horizon, and the second is my favourite - the beach leads nicely towards the sunrise 😀

Incredibly, the combination of blue and yellow at the end of the horizon really makes the atmosphere come alive. The aroma of the morning must be different when you see the sunrise.

You know what... my goodness.

Do other people get overwhelmed and want to cry when they see shots like this??? Because I DO. hahahaha

It's almost just too much for me to take in - you know what I mean? You feel like you're just witnessing something so truly AWE- SOME that it takes my breath away.

That might sound like I'm being dramatic - but really, truly - I"m not. There are times when I hear a song that is just so beautiful - I'm moved to tears. It just too much beauty for my mind to absorb - and it just strikes me emotionally.

As I was scrolling down the pics - each one just hit me stronger than the previous one. It almost felt like I was watching the whole day roll by, know what i mean! hahahaha

Your photographs are the quality of planet earth videos! just too much beauty in this world. When I start to feel panicked and confused about the things that HUMANS bring in - to try to just tear it apart.... then I go for a drive and look at the sky - and the flowers - and the golden hills of my mountains. and I just feel blessed by what God does! you know?

and all of that - is what these photos captured. Just really beautiful. Thank you for bringing some calm into our world by capturing these. Beautiful

Sorry I have a plan fir Wednesdays post already something different than my norm but that’s all I will say

I will see if I can find my photos of my tattoos in my archives if not I will have to my wife to take photos of them but she isn’t to well today so will put that off fir today
How about I promise I will try and get around doing a tattoo post within a month (or two lol )
I just hate being the focus of anything or the center of attention I am more of a wallflower/ watcher than watched

When I was in the army for 12 years some nicknamed me the ghost as at my farewell 30+ years ago the tradition then was to have a wall of photos of the person leaving and they could not find one of me hence the Ghost

hehehehehe wow!!!! you are always behind the lens then ... for sure.

ok! Well, first off - I hope your wife starts to feel better soon. THAT is most important!

Second - i will stop holding my breath hehehe but ONLY because you said you would try and get around to doing it in a month (or two... yes i did see that "or two") hahahahaha

Third - why am I so much more intrigued to see these posts of your tattoos now that you're such an elusive person?!?!?! hehehehe come on... nicknamed the Ghost??

its like you're TEMPTING ME AND LURING ME IN TO WANT MORE!!!! hahahahahahaha

ok- i'll be patient though. its July 31....
so that means I guess I start holding my breath again after September 30??? hehehehe

Lol I am actually a contradiction fir the most part I am vary shy but at times I can be crazy lol

Few people know the real me I joke about being a tattooed thug but am actually very gentle my wife and family here of course now the real me

But I guess when I do the tattoo post I will let people get a glimpse of the real me when I explain my thoughts behind each tattoo

My wife hasn’t been the same since she broke her hip before Christmas last year and then had complications after the surgery we almost lost her and she was in hospital for 5 weeks
But that said I just asked get about taking the photos fir me one day and she has agreed

I'm so sorry... my heart goes out to her. I know what its like to have all these mysterious things happening inside the body and it seems like you're just beyond science and doctors and their knowledge!

That's been my life for the last 5 years . (longer than that - but even I didnt know what was happening before then)

I'm going to pray over your wife as soon as I send this message. Believe that.

(nope - i actually had to pause this comment to just pray over her now... now I'm back)

I'm also somewhat of a dichotomy too! People see what they see - because I'm very capable of being social, lively, energetic, bubbly - and its not fake. It's genuine! but....

it's not where my heart is most at ease.

Being AROUND people will drain me immensely. When I tell people I'm an introvert - they're like SURE YOU ARE! HAHAHAHA YOU'RE THE MOST EXTROVERTED PERSON I KNOW!!! Because they see what they want to see. hehehe

But I am an introvert.

Extroverts go out - and gain energy from those social experiences.

Introverts go out and are very much DRAINED from those social experiences.

I'm not shy at all - I think that's what confuses them. They think introverts are shy - and that's just not try. Some introverts are shy! But some are very social, bubbly creatures - like me! hahaha

But I am most comfortable - in a place of solitude with very close people around me that know how to just let me be. if i talk - or if i'm quiet - I just like to know that the people around me understand me for me, and let me just be :)

you know - i'm really enjoying our friendship developing over comments! hahahahahaha

this is wild - but - its really the way things should be. you know? hehehe

just people connecting genuinely through shared experiences. doesn't have to be a lifelong friendship, hahaha - just needs to be real for that season. Enjoy it and let it be :)

will pray over your wife as God leads thoughts of her to my heart. Sending love to your family!
