Good day brethren am here to share what i learnt from todays bible exposition.

We as Christians are ment to worship God not any other being for God alone deserves all the worship.
Revelation 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

It is prohibited to serve other gods or even to listen to them, they are false gods rebels of the creator.
Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

We are not to eat blood because blood is sacred unto God, blood is used for the atonement of our soul. It can cover the sins of men.
Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

Hebrew 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

In the true church they do not accept contributions from non members of the church.
3 john 1:7 because they went forth for His name’s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles.

there is only one way in which we might be saved which is if we believe in the gospel of the lord jesus and do things written in the bible in life we will be saved.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.”

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.

God wants us to serve him willing and not by force that is why he has given us free will.
Isaiah 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land.

We are to serve God voluntarily. God can change us through the holy spirit if we submit to him. God can recreate us to fix the things that are broken in us.
James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Religion has been turned into a business by false prophets and this is why many religion have sprouted.
2 peter 2:1-3 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
