Matthew 26:52 KJV

For one to die in Christ, one first need to live in Christ.

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

In the Bible, the sword is the word of God.
He who lived in the gospel shall die in the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:14 KJV
Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

Isaiah 57:20-21 KJV
But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. [21] There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

For them that have no peace, the Lord is bringing sword.

John 6:63 KJV
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The words of Christ are spiritual. What is important is for the sword to cut down all wickedness.
