Lesson learnt from Bible Study 28/12/2021

What are the important points we have learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting?
There is millennium and appointed time in the Bible.
Revelation 20:4
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

When Jesus Christ returns back on this earth, He will resurrect the early Christians and they will reign with Him for thousand years on Earth. Those who didn't believe will be given another chance to believe in Him.
He will rule the world without Satan.
Satan will be put into prison for thousand years.
The other dead people will not be resurrected until the thousand years is over.
After the thousand years, all the dead will be resurrected.
Satan will be anger and he will organise the unbelievers and fight against the Lord.
After the fight, fire will fall as rain from heaven to destroyed them.

Leviticus 25:10
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
They celebrated the jubilee and forgave others what they owned them.

When God sees that you will obey him he will prolong your days.
Proverbs 10:27
The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
We should learn how to count our times.
The Apostles also counted their times.
Psalm 90:12
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Christ was born at an appointed time.
Luke 2:6
And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
The date for Christ's birth by the Romans is not correct. Christ was not born on 25th December.
Luke 1:26
And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
Mary conceived in the sixth month when Elizabeth was pregnant. So the calculations show that, Christ was not born in December.

What are our former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting?
I Thought that when Christ comes, the world will come to an end.
Again, I believed that Christ was born on December 25th, so therefore, Christians should celebrate it when it comes because that is the correct date.
How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?
I now know that when Christ comes the world will not be over yet. He will rain with the early Christians.
Because he cares for us, he will still give chance for people to repent and believe him when he comes.
It is important for us to continue to exhibit the character of Christ to spread the good new of Christ to others.
I also learned that, when we obey the commandment of God and do the will of God, we will live longer on this earth.

We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending

Due to some circumstances, the publishing rules of our Hive community have to change. The changes are as follows;
✅ Do not include any verse in the post, if we want we can add some screenshots of the verse inside our post.
✅ Minimum of 400 words in a single post.
✅ It is good if we can answer these 3 simple questions when making our Hive post.

  1. What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?

  2. What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?

  3. How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?

We suggest adding more of our personal reflection on the topic discussed, I can give an example here,

Matthew 28:20 - we have learned that we are to obey the commandment of the Lord and preach the gospel in all nations until the end comes but who are the main people who will preach, it is in the church of God as it is written

1 Peter 2:9 - God's people have the obligation to preach the gospel that is found in the one body. In this way we can always add our personal reflection and understanding, we can avoid mass quoting the whole verses.

We have to apply this to avoid any conflict from other communities. I hope we understand, God help us.
