Going to heaven should be the true destiny of everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. Going to heaven goes beyond just following Jesus, it should be the destiny of every human. We all came from God. He created use all for His glory. God made us in His likeness so that we will be in fellowship with Him forever. Therefore going to heaven ought to be the destination of every man.

1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV) But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Anyone who will not make it to heaven will end up in hell, forever under torment with the devil. Hell is a place where people will be permanently separated from God. It is a destination for those who choose to live their lives in disobedience to God's commandments. Hell was originally designed for the devil and the fallen angels. No one should ever imagine being in hell.

Acts 13:46 (KJV) Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Bro Eli Soriano gives us food for thought in this video. He told us that we should not be careless about going to heaven. He has made it abundantly clear that even though God would have destined a person to go to heaven, if that person begin to live sinfully, he might miss heaven. What does this implies to us? We should consciously live according to God's purpose so that we will be able to get to heaven.
