Ephesians 6:17 (NIV)
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
The sword is the Word of God. Because of the Word of God, there would be conflict between someone who accepts the Word and those who didn't accept the Word.
Micah 3:11 (NIV)
Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets tell fortunes for money. Yet they look for the Lord’s support and say, “Is not the Lord among us? No disaster will come upon us.”
There are those who claimed to be of God but they are only after money. We have so many preachers doing this under the pretext of being the true Church or being sent by God.
2 Corinthians 10:18 (NIV)
For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
You can't be the one to approve of yourself. Only God can acknowledge and approve you to be His. God proves His own.
John 7:17 (NIV)
Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
How can you claim to be the true Church, someone asked. We can't speak of ourselves but we must speak of God that sent us and what He sent us. Only God can approve of us.
We need to know whether the doctrine is of God or for selfish gains. The preacher must speak of the teachings of God and not mixed doctrines of men. The attention must be on God. The House of God should be the Church of God because He made and built it. It is not men that should glory over it by calling it by their own name.
1 Corinthians 12:18 (NIV)
But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
God puts the members in the body. God is the architect of the body and owns the body. God owns Christ.

For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken.
God speaks through Christ. The rock is Christ. You will know a true Church by their doctrines.
1 John 5:16 (NIV)
If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.
Sins that are not deliberate can be forgiven. If you are baptized with the Holy Spirit, He helps you to stay away from sin.
