This is the teaching of Bro. Eli Soriano of blessed memory and these words I share are the things I learnt from his teaching on the above-mentioned topic.
Believing comes from the heart. You don't just make others believe what you want them to believe. There is always a source to what people choose to believe and God helps us to believe.
Faith is believing and believing is faith.
Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Are we going to invent things because of the faith we cannot see?
Colossians 1:15-16 (NIV)
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
To God nothing is invisible.
Hebrews 4:13 (NIV)
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Invisible things are for humans because God sees everything and nothing is hidden from Him. If believing is to believe what we cannot see, it means there is someone who sees everything and is informing us of the things we cannot see, so we are to believe those who see what we cannot see.
