Mass Indoctrination Service, Day 13 - 22nd September 2021.

These are the lessons learnt from the teaching of Bro Eliseo Soriano.

You can watch the video of the lessons learnt below:

1 John 5:16 (NIV)

If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.

We have sins that leads unto death and the ones that are not unto death. The one that leads unto death cannot be prayed about but the ones that are not unto death can be prayed and forgiven.

Titus 3:10 (NIV)

Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them.

There can be an expulsion of people in the Church when they are unrepentant, abusing of their power and also intentionally doing certain things that can cause others to sin. The Bible says if our eye is making us sin, we should pluck it out because it is better to lose a part than to lose eternity. Same way with those who want to corrupt the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 5:13 (NIV)

God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”

Speaking against the Holy Spirit is unforgiveable. Sin against man can be forgiven.

Matthew 12:32 (NIV)

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

Mark 3:29 (NIV)

but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”

Acts 15:28-29 (NIV)

It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements:
You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.

We were told to abstain from meats offered to idols because idols are false gods. We are to also abstain from blood - eating animals with their blood on it because there is life in blood. Jesus offered His blood, Abel's blood cried out to God when Cain killed him, so there is life in blood. We should abstain from eating blood or animals that still have their blood in them.

We are to stay away from strangled animals or animals that died by themselves. We were also told to stay away from fornication because our body is the temple of God and it corrupts it.

It is abominable to worship another god other than God and most people worship the created rather than the Creator. There are those who worship animals or even the heavenly bodies or those or things created by God.

Eating food offered to idols would weaken our conscience and we have been told to stay away from them.

1 Corinthians 8:7 (NIV)

But not everyone possesses this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak, it is defiled.
