There are people who are short sighted and there are people who are far sighted ,there are also questions that are far sighted and there are the ones that are short sighted but the answer must not be short sighted either the question is short or long sighted

• 2 Peter 1:8-9 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

The military is an not organization of death, it is an organization of protection of people, property, freedom, peace and Human Rights so you don't need to have bad impression for the military
