Passiflora
I took a photo of this Passiflora while visiting a private botanical garden.
Her flowers just fascinate me!
As if they are from another planet.
Passiflora is an evergreen vine that was introduced from South America, Asia, Madagascar and Australia.
Passiflora blooms early enough, already in the second year of life.
For more abundant flowering, Passiflora must be cut off, since no flowers appear on old stems.
And it is desirable to carry out artificial pollination.
Passiflora loves a moist environment, it grows poorly in dry soil, and its flowering will not be abundant.
At temperatures below + 5 ° C, it may die.
I have been growing Passiflora in a large potted pot for almost 3 years, but unfortunately there has been no fruiting yet :-(
For some reason, the buds that appeared on it fell off.
I don’t know what I’m doing not.
If anyone has any successful experience in growing Passiflora, would like to hear from you.
