The colorful buildings are so pretty. Wearing a T-shirt that appears in the Michael Jackson music video...

Many life shots in Penroringne..Portuguese-style colorful buildings are lined up in alleys.People who wear traditional clothes and take pictures, Brazilian traditional martial arts capoeira, and even those who paint the body, feel like a representative tourist destination in Salvador. As I said above, you have to be careful. Salvador, who has lived for nearly a year in Brazil, instinctively feels that this is dangerous. I was so upset to think about it in such a pretty city, but still be careful and careful Take a picture of your phone and put it in your bag right away!

In the center of Pelorinne, the pillars that the slaves were bound to when they were punished, and the Sao Francisco church, is full of Portuguese scent to be called the tropical Lisbon. Michael Jackson filmed a music video for'They don't care about us' in the same place wearing the T-shirt I wore.. It's overwhelming that he just came to the same place in the same clothes.

Basílica do Senhor do Bonfim

After having finished watching the Penrolingyu, I moved to the second spot.

The Segno Doubongping Cathedral was too hot, so the tent was set up, so it wasn't pretty. Sorry

Bonping Cathedral is located on a hill. We got on the Uber and got off right in front of us, but when we come by bus, we are on the hill enough to suffer. In front of the cathedral, like the photo, countless colorful bracelets are tied. This is the bracelet that is the symbol of Salvador mentioned earlier!.

This bracelet must be tied three times. When tying a knot, a total of three wishes are made, one by one, and when they are released from the arm, the wish is said to come true.

In the cathedral, the interior was not allowed because it was during mass.

I received a bundle of bracelets distributed in front of the cathedral, wears it on my wrist, and I don't know how many bundles are tied in front of the cathedral. It was my last trip to Brazil before returning home, so I was very worried about it, so I was awkward so that many thoughts and worries disappear while tying the knot 3, but I prayed after a long time.

Please go to Korea and do this, please do that.

Thanks to the colorful bracelets, a unique photo wall was created in front of the cathedral.

I don't know how many tens I took just in front of this. The weather is nice, the background is pretty, there aren't many people, and it's the best schedule... In fact, Salvador is one of Brazil's fingertips, but it has a reputation for play and play with those who have already been around me. Many people even said it was the worst, so on the first trip, they took Salvador for only one night and made a mistake.

It is true that the Northeast has poor security. Brazil itself has a bad state of security. However, the culture that can only be felt in the northeast, and the fantastic natural environment that is painful to say, is enough to make me a Nordeste admirer. Can you see how happy I am just by looking at the pictures already?

After a full day tour of Salvador, I returned to Barra.

Sunset in Barra with Brazilian Beer + Budweiser

At the end of the sunset time, I went to the beach with a bottle of my Brazilian favorite beer..♥ Original.

It is a beautiful sunset.

A sunset completely different from yesterday's sunset.

I couldn't express my feelings with photos. It was a perfect day.

I think about it occasionally while watching the sunset.

I am happy now. I am lucky to be able to feel this feeling!

Brazil's representative city, Salvador Chow!

Reset your blog and post again!

This was a May 2019 post.

My last travel destination in Brazil.

The beginning is half, but decorating the end is just as important.

The last trip I really wanted to go to a Brazilian-like place, so I had two conditions '1. Things to be warm 2. I started to think about the destinations with'City with the Beach'. In the meantime, I missed the northeastern part of Brazil, where I went all the way to the carnaval in February, so I bought a round trip ticket to Salvador right away because I couldn't go there again.

Salvador seen from the plane. That donut-like look is the Salvador Football Stadium!

The second visit to Salvador was quite different from the enthusiastic atmosphere of the carnival. Like any other big city in Brazil, there were many buildings and people, and the weather was hot. The weather in Salvador, which averages between 28 and 30 degrees per year, was very satisfactory for me from the south... It was my second visit, so I came out familiar with the airport and grabbed Uber and talked with a delightful Bahia driver. Once again, I felt the peculiar accent of the northeast.

Our hostel is Barra this time too!

One of Brazil's most famous Carnivals, the Salvador Carnival, is the biggest venue, so it's safe, has plenty of lodgings, lots of restaurants, and above all...

The sea is so pretty...!

Barra, Salvador's beautiful sunset with tears

Manjeong-sensei, who sees the sunset in his life and has tears..

Ah... It was a sunset that was so beautiful that I could say that I have never seen such a beautiful sunset in my life.

Warm weather and beautiful sea. It wasn't the peak season, and there were no tourists, and Asians in particular could not be found in the whole city to the extent that we were the only ones. At the thought of being the last time, my sensibility became softer and tears fell.

Acaraje, traditional Bahia food sold on the beach in Barra.

As it is the center of the Afro-Brasilreiro culture, Bahia's regional color is so distinct that we from the south feel like traveling to another country. Food culture that shows it entirely.

Acaraje(:Akarajö) is a fried bread made with shrimp meat and dende oil? It is a traditional Northeastern food that is eaten with various toppings in between the same. The Bayanus are so proud of them that those who can sell akaraze must have a license, wear traditional clothes and sell food.

Even in narrow venezuela, there are dialects, food, and pride in each region, but the differences between regions in Brazil are very different. Akarazor and other Bahia foods? Um.. It's really peculiar and unusual, but the delicious food is so delicious ㅜㅜ My favorite Baiana food...! Moqueca and Carne de sol!

Northeastern foods There were also many foods that tasted like never before...!

Curitiba, where I studied abroad, is located in the south, and mainly white cultures such as Germany and Italy. Because of this, Northeastern food, which was influenced by African culture by me from the South, is truly exotic, national, and unique...! Fortunately, there are many foods that fit my mouth, so I ate well from the beginning and I ate well this time :)

Centro Historico, Basílica do Senhor do Bonfim

Top 2 of Salvador's Representative Tourist Attractions

If you've seen so pretty beaches in Barra, it's time to go to see Salvador's iconic tourist destinations.

In Brazil, this amount of sunscreen should be applied

To endure the hot Brazilian sunlight 1. Water 2. Sunglasses 3. Three sunscreens are a must! In Korea, I applied sunscreen with numbers that I couldn't even dream of, applied twice or three times to my entire body, and left for Salvador's Centro Historico.

The beginning to go to this place, also known as Pelourinho, is

Elevador Lacerda

During the Portuguese colonial period, an elevator that connected the lower town where slaves lived and the upper town where the wealthy white ruling class lived. It's the oldest elevator in the world, and I feel like Brazil is another country in this place. It feels like after knowing that Porto de Galinha (: Chicken's Harbor) next to Recife, which was a really pretty beach that I went to in February, compared slave transport ships to chicken coops... These beautiful ruins and nature When you see imperialism and colonial history in Brazil, Brazil is unfamiliar...

Pelourinho

Remark! There are people who are just trying to hand out bracelets, leaving behind the view... This is Salvador's iconic bracelet! As I'll explain soon below, it's a really famous bracelet and I've also received it both times I've visited. However, there are so many merchants who just give bracelets and ask for money, so people who visit for the first time seem embarrassed and scared.

When you come up from the elevator, Portuguese-style buildings have traces of time.

From here, there are more tourists, so there are many pickpockets and scammers, so travelers should be careful. I'm scared!

In fact, I play almost two months from the beginning of the new year to the carnival, so the start date doesn't make any difference, but the second Salvador was really uninhabited and still. The Salvador Carnival, as well as the Rio Carnival, is one of the most famous in Brazil, so it was a really crowded festival from all over the country.
