THE BEST PLACE TO BE IS ON THE PLATEAU || NATURE || HIKINGS

Hello hivers, what did you hear about Plateau?

• Lets get started; A plateau is an extensive area of flat upland usually bounded by a steep slope on all sides but sometimes enclosed by mountains.
  Did you know there is a state in Nigeria called Plateau state?
  Plateau is the twelfth-largest state in Nigeria. Approximately in the centre of the country, it is geographically unique in Nigeria due to its boundaries of elevated hills surrounding the Jos Plateau. Its capital city is Jos and its known as home of peace and tourism.
  I was opportuned to visit Plateau state during the one year compulsory National Youth service Corps (NYSC).
  The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a scheme set up by the Nigerian government to involve Nigerian graduates in nation building and the development of the country.To be eligible to participate in the compulsory one year service, a graduate must be below the age of 30 years upon graduation.And such gradute is usually taken to another state outside his/her state of origin to serve the nation.

I must say i really explore Plateau state during my service year.

• because of the presence of hills and mountains we decided to go for hikings on one beautiful Saturday,

• We gathered as early as 6:00 in the morning and had some face painting to add colors to the even and we trooped out in number.
  However, We all agreed that we will not be taking pictures upon climbing the mountain so as to ensure a maximum concentration by every member. Its about 1150 metres tall.

• It was all joy getting to the mountain top, we all felt fulfiled because the climbing was rough and doggedness.
  

• looking forward to doing the hiking one more time probably in another state or another country entirely, you can also invite me down to your country to it together😘🤗
