CCC's Street Art Contest #191 Koffi, Montreal
For the CCC's Street Art Contest #191 still hosted by @digi-me (thanks for last week's honorable mention), I present a wall photographed at the beginning of this winter when I find the snow still beautiful 😀. This is a mural painted by Koffi in 2023 to replace the one done by Philippe Mastrocola covered in tags over the years.
Pour le CCC's Street Art Contest #191 toujours organisé par @digi-me (merci pour l'honorable mention de la semaine dernière), je vous présente un mur pris en photo au début de cet hiver quand on trouve la neige encore belle 😀. Il s'agit d'une œuvre peinte par Koffi en 2023 pour remplacer celle faite par Philippe Mastrocola couvertes de tags avec les années.
For the contest, I chose this photo because there was a red car that prevented me from taking the whole mural. Always a car in front of a mural (see next pic(, a problem that exists all over the world from what I see in the StreetArt community posts 😀.
Pour le concours, j'ai choisi cette photo car il y avait une voiture rouge qui m'empêchait de prendre la murale en entier. Toujours une voiture devant une murale (voir la photo suivante), un problème qui existe dans le monde entier à ce que je vois dans les posts de la communauté StreetArt 😀.

Here's the guilty red car 😀 Few info about Koffi, an artist with a very "cartoon" style if I'm to believe his Instagram account. He made this mural in augmented reality, which I didn't know before learning about this artist and his work.
Voilà la fameuse voiture rouge 😀 Peu d'information sur Koffi, un artiste avec un style très cartoon si je me fie à son compte Instagram. Il a réalisé cette murale en réalité augmentée, ce que je ne savais pas avant de me renseigner sur cet artiste et son oeuvre.
Indeed, with a phone or tablet and the Artivive app, the mural comes to life with swimming fishes and others things. I'll have to go back to watch it (link to see the video made by Koffi instagram.com).
En effet, avec un téléphone ou une tablette et l'application Artivive, la murale s'anime avec des poissons qui nagent. Il va falloir y retourner pour regarder cela en vrai (lien pour voir la vidéo faite par Koffi instagram.com).
It's cool to be on the seabed while walking through the city. I love it when StreetArt takes us somewhere else, away from asphalt and concrete and towards nature. Some photos to admire the details 🔽
