I'm always amazed when I go to the Legal Wall of Rouen in MOntreal to see high quality Street Art. It's like being in an art gallery that is constantly changing. As the artists are allowed to paint here, it changes every day. It would be necessary to put a webcam to see that live 😀.

Je suis toujours étonné quand je vais au Mur légal de Rouen à Montréal de voir des œuvres Street Art de grande qualité. On se croirait dans une galerie d'art en perpétuelle évolution. Comme les artistes ont le droit peindre ici, cela change tous les jours. Il faudrait mettre une webcam pour voir cela live 😀.

These photos were taken on July 4th of this year. On this pic, you see from left to right, Snaxx, Aldarwin, HeR and Le Polographe. And above, you can see the " running legs " of Magic Hob.

Cette série de photos a été prise le 4 juillet de cette année. Sur ce mur, vous voyez de gauche à droite, Snaxx, Aldarwin, HeR ainsi que Le Polographe. Et au dessus, on aperçoit les "jambes qui courent" de Magic Hob.

WHERE

On de Rouen Street under the railways (even Google : Graffiti Bridge), Montreal, Canada. Just for info Legal Wall Rouen is a place where artists can paint in peace because the activity is permitted by the City.

Sur le rue de Rouen au niveau de la voie de chemin de fer (même Google a nommé ce lieu Graffiti brige), Montréal. Juste pour rappel Mur légal Rouen est un endroit ou les artistes peuvent dessiner en toute tranquillité car l'activité est permise par la Ville.

Snaxx, Aldarwin & HeR

Snaxx aka Andra Postovaru, a Canadian artist of Romanian origin, made this beautiful portrait with colorful hair. Magnificent... from this hair, emerges the work of Aldarwin Hernandez Garcia aka Aldarwin, a Mexican artist also based in Montreal.

Snaxx aka Andra Postovaru, artiste canadienne d'origine roumaine, a réalisé ce superbe portrait avec une chevelure toute en couleur. Magnifique... de ces cheveux, surgit l'oeuvre d' Aldarwin Hernandez Garcia aka Aldarwin, artiste mexicain lui aussi installé à Montréal.

Take a good look under the monster, I love these two little guys eating roasted marshmallows. This colorful monster brings us directly to the work of HeR that we discovered not long ago in the Weekly StreetArt #038. We recognize her style with these big eyes underlined with a white triangle.

Regardez bien sous le monstre, j'adore ces deux petits bonhommes en train de se réchauffer en grillant quelques guimauves. Ce monstre coloré nous amène directement à l'œuvre d'HeR que nous avons découvert il n'y pas longtemps dans le Weekly StreetArt #038. On reconnait son style avec ces grands yeux soulignés avec un triangle blanc.

Cool to have left this look between the two works. / FR : Cool d'avoir laissé ce regard entre les deux oeuvres.

Le Polographe

This time, the work of Paul Gautier aka Le Polographe had not been crossed before my visit (see Street Art #552). We see in this work all his experience in 3D and video games.

Cette fois ci, le travail de de Paul Gautier aka Le Polographe n'avait pas été tagguée avant mon passage (voir Street Art #552). On voit dans cette œuvre son expérience en 3D et jeux vidéos.

Slamshit

We change wall with this work of Slamshit, a very recognizable style. This side of the Legal Wall Rouen was more lettering oriented as you will see. But there are also some great portraits.

On change de mur avec cette oeuvre de Slamshit, un style très reconnaissable. Ce côté du Mur Légal Rouen était plus orienté lettrage comme vous allez le constater. Mais il y a aussi de superbes portraits.

Gabriel Lenfesty & Neoner

Just inside the entrance is a lettering accompanied by a painted pigeon done by Gabriel Lenfesty, a Montreal-based muralist and painter who often paints birds. The silver letters are the work of Neoner.

Juste à à l'entrée, on retrouve un lettrage accompagné par un pigeon peint par Gabriel Lenfesty, muraliste et peintre basé à Montréal qui peint très souvent des oiseaux. Les lettres argentées sont l'œuvre de Neoner.

Eskogriff, Rouks & Zenow

Right next to it is another beautiful lettering by Eskogriff with a gorgeous black and white portrait by Rouks. / FR : Juste à côté, on trouve un autre superbe lettrage fait par Eskogriff avec un portrait en noir et blanc splendide par Rouks.

Very cool style of Eskogriff with this filling with light effect... and on the side a "masterpiece" made by Rouks, artist and tattooer based in Montreal.

Très bon style d' Eskogriff avec ce remplissage avec effet de lumière... et côté un chef d'œuvre fait par Rouks, artiste et tatoueur basé à Montréal.

And we finish this triptych with another lettering made this time by Zenow. I just saw that I forgot to take a picture of the whole. Doh 😀 / FR : Et on finit ce triptyque par un autre lettrage réalisé cette fois par Zenow. Je viens de voir que j'ai oublié de prendre une photo de l'ensemble. Doh 😀.

I was back three days later, and already the walls had changed or were changing. Because many artists were painting... I just took a picture of this work that stood out and moreover finished.

J'étais repassé trois jours plus tard, et déjà les murs avaient changé ou alors en cours de changement. Car beaucoup d'artistes en train de peindre... J'ai juste pris en photo cette œuvre qui ressortait du lot et en plus terminée :

This artwork was created by Acid Features, a mural company specializing in comic book reproductions. It's really beautiful... And finally Nero and his little ghost.

Cette œuvre a été réalisée par Acid Features, compagnie de murales spécialisée en reproduction de bandes dessinées. C'est vraiment de toute beauté... Et pour finir Nero et son petit fantôme.
