Street Art #311 Cryote, Montreal
For once I'm going to make a post about Cryote without mentioning his eternal sidekick Waxhead (but it's impossible as you can see 😀). Indeed, a garage door was entirely painted by Cryote on an alley near to Saint Denis Street in Montréal :
We recognize well his universe with animals, especially cats with big eyes with pastel colors.

WHO
Sebastion Millar aka Cryote is street-artist from Ottawa now based in Montreal. He is closed to the 203 crew. As I said in my introduction, every time you see a work done by Cryote, you are sure to see a work by Waxhead as well. They're almost inseparable.
In front of the garage door, he also painted a fence (I think this work was done a few years before). This gives a very cool ensemble :
You can also find a little bit everywhere on the walls of Montreal hand-drawn works that I like a lot. Quickly done, simple but effective, often just the head :
"Graffiti is important because it is an unfiltered expression. Anyone can pick up a marker and leave their thought, to be accepted or rejected, judged or ignored. It can give people a voice and a sense of place, or help one to interact with their surroundings in a playful way." - Cryote - ( Source : The Writing on the Wall, interesting interview if you want to know more about his artistic approach).
WHEN
- 2019.
