"How green do you want it to be?" "YES" xD
This picture is from northern Iran in the province of Gilan and it's basically a jungle. It's beautiful for hiking and (not seen here) there ia actually an old fortress there in the middle of the forest/jungle (I'll make a post about that soon!) But here's just the beautiful view into the valley.

Hi, this is Jane, a new one in this travel contest.. I'm a Hodophile who loves traveling and taking photos. Thanks for this awesome contest 😁

The photo was taken at High Island Reservoir Hong Kong during our last trip. It was such a paradise to behold and a worth arduous hike. This reservoir is the biggest in HK and its turquoise water is truly relaxing along with the green foliage around. Isn't it?

Hello!

I'd like to share with you the majestic Tinago Falls of Iligan City surrounded by lush greens. It is dubbed the hidden gem since it is located on the outskirts of the said city. Before reaching this beauty, we had to trek for more than 300 steps in a cemented staircase. Our first option was to go for the longer route, the more than 500 steps. Unfortunately, that route is temporarily closed because of the landslide caused by Typhoon Odette.

In addition, the city has 24 waterfalls and is named the City of Waterfalls in the Philippines. And Tinago Falls is one of the major tourist spots in the city. You can have cliff jumping, stay in a small cave to enjoy the reverberated sound of the water drops, and also have a water massage by riding a balsa (bamboo raft).

Just Green

It was quite a fun experienced I had when I decided to join the townfolks to search for food during the evening. We only used a flashlight to brighten the surroundings and of course to find shrimp in the river.

I captured this guy here when he was searching for a shrimp under this plant's leaves. It was so nice that I thought of sharing it most of the time.

Quite an interesting capture, thanks for participating!
Shrimp? I thought they live only in the seas and oceans? Interesting indeed ;)

I took this picture in a bar restaurant in my city called Tabú, a place that seeks to immerse its customers in a natural environment, but at the same time sophisticated, so in its entrance is possible to observe elements that refer to mother earth as this painting, in my country, and much of the South American countries is also known as the Pachamama, which is taken from the imaginary of the Quechua and Aymara indigenous tribes. She is often represented as a woman, as in this mural painting, which is fused with real plants to simulate her hair.

Green is the most representative color of our mother earth, and in this painting I loved the contrast between green and black, so I could not pass up the opportunity to photograph it.

I took this photo from a lookout over a small village, Óbánya, in Hungary. This village is popular among hikers, because there are many trails close by. And most of the village is for rent to hikers. We spent multiple long weekends here.

I took these photographs of a plant species with quite defined textures, it is a white nettle or ishanga brava, whose scientific name is Laportea aestuans, it is found in almost all the South American continent and some regions of Africa and is used for the manufacture of fabrics and handicrafts. It can also be prepared in tea, which has diuretic and laxative properties, as well as bactericidal and anti-inflammatory.

I have always been struck by the subtle fleshiness of this plant and its slightly rough texture. On the surface of the leaves and stems you can see a hairiness that characterizes it. I have noticed that this plant grows where there is a lot of humidity, I have tried to transplant it but it hardly adapts to conditions different from where it has grown, the humidity conditions are very specific for this plant and it seems to tolerate very little sunlight.

My entry @travelcontest 😁

I took this photograph with my iPhone in the wildlife park in Fuengirola Spain.
You see a GREEN snake 🐍 all rolled up on the top of a branch.
I’m not a fan of snakes, but they do fascinate me. It was cool 😎 to see how it was holding it’s balance. Hanging down on both sides of the branch.
What do you think of snakes?

What do I think of snakes? Definitely they are useful creatures but I don't want them anywhere near me :D
