The walker's letter - RDR 2!

Hello there,

I named "the walker", as I tried covering the RDR 2 map from far east to far west, reaching the map limits, on my horse or by walking. There were a few patches where the horse couldn't take me and I had to cover the map on foot during such a situation.

I will split my journey into a few blogs to cover each instance in detail. Consider this as a short series full of my records during my trial to the West.

While covering the map, I encountered many small quests and easter eggs. I sometimes played against the script to check what the game would do if I went beyond its defined limits. Let's get started!

After covering last week's theme, it is time for me to do more extensive roaming. I planned to start my journey from the east edge of the map to the west edge.

I aimed to start from the north part of the map as it has fewer roads. But it will also force me to walk and cover the unpaved path.

Before moving to the Far East, I had to check one remote location on the map.

There were some weird-shaped trees present. I was thinking of the ways that could have made these trees in such a shape.

There was a minelocated near me.

I tried to blast off the entrance but it was shielded well. I was not able to enter. I heard some voice so I went ahead to check the source of voice.

The skinners were there. They killed and looted a couple. As they saw me they started running in the forest.

There was a Skinner gang hiding in the forest. I killed them each one by one and freed the place.

After handling them I went to find the way to roads to get away from the forest and set my camp.

I rested near Ambarino Bridge.

The sun was rising and it was time for me to first move toward the far east and then start my journey towards the west.

Forest dwellers already started their work.

I followed the rail track to get to the east point easily and quickly.

I crossed valleys, and short tunnels and was covering the distance at a fast speed.

I travelled faster, but the distance was long as well and it took a good part of the day to cover it.

I finally reached the eastern side of the map. I tried to get on the other side of the land i.e. outside of map limits, but I was unable to walk there. Whenever I walked I slipped back.

I tried several times to get to the other side of the sea, but I failed.

I raged my horse for a perfect picture capture. After posing, I traveled towards the shoreline.

I saw a person lying unconscious near the shore. I approached him and as I got close to him, he puked water and began to talk to me.

He handed me a letter and I read it. This was the letter, the words of a lover... It made me a little sad for him.

An unsuccessful love story. Seems like this man tried to earn the fortune to live happily with her girl. However, he washed out in the storm and got to the shore.

After handing me the letter he died...

For a moment I stood there watching the sunset. And thinking about this buddy who just lost his life this way.

There was a chest lying near his boat. I checked and collected a few valuables.

It was getting evening. I headed for a spot to rest. And I started my journey from east to west as well.

I heard the voice of this old man. I saw him multiple times on the map and this time he was present at this remote location in the extreme northeast.

I came closer to him. I see him standing in the middle of the river every time I come across him.

He said a few words but I was unable to comprehend them. It was hard to understand what he was conveying.

I moved away from him to set the camp and rest for the night. Good night.

It looks like you're about to write a visual book of your great journey. BTW, the word walker made me think of zombies as peoples in The Walking Dead series, addresses the zombies with walker and I'm a good fan of that series. Good luck with your journey ahead.

I played telltale walking dead series completely.

I tried the mobile version for somedays long back and so far I was enjoying the concept but suddenly I stopped playing (I don't remember why) and never tried again.

I hope there'll be a walking dead game having the main actors from the series and with a cool open world, of course giving a photo mode, lol.

you have to love this game, when I played it a couple of months ago I couldn't believe all these details, it's crazy what these devs worked out.

Yes devs did a good job and all you need is a random roam to catch the extra content. Thank you
