Tramitar Documentos es Parte de un Proceso (Esp-Eng)

¡Hola, Amigos lectores de Hive!.

Hace unos pocos días me dirigí a la ciudad de Manta a realizar unas apostillas para las partidas de nacimiento de mi hijo Santiago, como muchos saben Santi nació en Ecuador, pero nosotros sus padres somos venezolanos y queremos darle la nacionalidad, para que al momento de regresar ya podamos tener sus papeles en regla y así evitar futuras complicaciones.

Cómo saben esos procesos suelen ser un poco largo y a veces hasta complicados, en mi caso comencé hacer este proceso, a partir del mes de septiembre y afortunadamente, logré entrar estos días en una jornada en la cual los organismos pertinentes realizan trámites legales para los migrantes de forma acelerada o sin previa cita, lo cual esto para nosotros es muy beneficioso, ya que me ahorro varios viajes a la ciudad de Guayaquil que está aún más lejos y es donde se realizan estos trámites.

A few days ago I went to the city of Manta to make some apostilles for the birth certificates of my son Santiago, as many know Santi was born in Ecuador, but we are Venezuelan parents and we want to give him the nationality, so that when we return we can already have his papers in order and thus avoid future complications.

As you know these processes are usually a little long and sometimes even complicated, in my case I started this process, from the month of September and fortunately, I managed to enter these days in a day in which the relevant agencies perform legal procedures for migrants in an accelerated manner or without prior appointment, which for us is very beneficial, as it saves me several trips to the city of Guayaquil which is even further away and is where these procedures are performed.

Honestamente, creía que me tocaría hacer todo este proceso y viajar un par de veces, pero para mi buena suerte y la de Santi pude entrar en esa jornada, puesto que hace algunos meses perdí la oportunidad de asistir a la anterior por no tener los documentos necesarios. ¡Esta vez me puse las pilas!.

Debo mencionarles que no he estado sola en este proceso porque hay otra personita que está realizando los mismos trámites y quién ha sido mi fiel compañera durante esta travesía, la cual no sé si ha sido buena o mala Jaja mentira, es broma @elizabeths14 ¡Sí es Eli! Lo cómico de todo esto es que no sé cuál de las dos sufrió más si yo por su problema de astigmatismo, o ella porque yo estaba perdida con unas planillas y a cada momento @josuemonterola y yo le pedíamos que leyera. Lo bueno de todo esto es que al final no estaba sola.

Honestly, I thought I would have to do all this process and travel a couple of times, but for my good luck and Santi's I could enter in this journey, since a few months ago I lost the opportunity to attend the previous one because I didn't have the necessary documents. This time I got my act together!

I must mention that I have not been alone in this process because there is another little person who is doing the same procedures and who has been my faithful companion during this journey, which I do not know if it has been good or bad Haha lie, just kidding @elizabeths14 Yes it is Eli! The funny thing about all this is that I don't know which of us suffered more, me because of her astigmatism problem, or her because I was lost with some forms and @josuemonterola and I kept asking her to read. The good thing about all this is that in the end I was not alone.

Cómo les dije, la jornada se realizó en Manta, la cual queda aproximadamente a 45 minutos en transporte terrestre, del lugar donde vivo. Manta es una ciudad costera del Ecuador, es grande, hermosa y turística, al llegar lo primero que podemos observar es la playa qué es su principal atractivo, a pesar de que solo fui por trámites disfruté mucho la sensación de estar cerca del mar.

Esta es la segunda vez que fuimos, ya que la primera vez fue para apostillar las partidas de nacimiento de los niños ante el estado Ecuatoriano, para que puedan tener validez en el Venezolano. Y en esta ocasión solo presentábamos todos los documentos ante el consulado Venezolano para de esta manera acelerar el proceso de la debida nacionalidad para nuestros niños, ellos corroboran que todo estuviera en orden y aquí fue donde casi muero de decepción.

As I said, the journey took place in Manta, which is approximately 45 minutes by land transport from where I live. Manta is a coastal city of Ecuador, it is big, beautiful and touristic, when we arrive the first thing we can see is the beach which is its main attraction, although I only went for paperwork I really enjoyed the feeling of being near the sea.

This is the second time we went, since the first time was to apostille the birth certificates of the children before the Ecuadorian state, so that they can be valid in the Venezuelan. And this time we only presented all the documents to the Venezuelan consulate to speed up the process of the proper nationality for our children, they corroborate that everything was in order and this is where I almost died of disappointment.

Resulta qué unos de los requisitos era llenar una planilla con todos los datos de nacimiento, tales como los que aparecen en el certificado de nacido vivo, que nos dan al momento del niño nacer. Y era aquí donde estaba la falla, no sé a quién se la habrá olvidado, no ponerle la hora de nacimiento de mi hijo, que casi me cuesta todo el esfuerzo.

En ese momento me sentí decepcionada y desesperada y a la vez fue frustrante y horrible, hasta ahora ha sido lo peor de este proceso, ni siquiera se compara con el trabajo que me dio llenar las planillas, pero afortunadamente la chica que nos atendió y yo encontramos una solución; aún guardo el brazalete que le pusieron a Santi al nacer, el cual tiene la hora exacta de nacimiento y esto fue lo que nos salvó.

Me hicieron prometer qué en mi próxima y última cita de este trámite, debía llevar esta información anexada porque además de entregar todos los requisitos, también nos asignaron una cita para presentarnos a firmar como representante de los niños, para la cual sí debemos viajar a Guayaquil, así que pronto les estaré contando sobre cómo nos va ¡Sí también nos toca ir con Eli!.

It turns out that one of the requirements was to fill out a form with all the birth data, such as those that appear on the certificate of live birth, which we are given at the time of the child's birth. And it was here where the flaw was, I don't know who must have forgotten, not to put the time of birth of my son, which almost cost me all the effort.

At that moment I felt disappointed and desperate and at the same time it was frustrating and horrible, so far it has been the worst of this process, it does not even compare with the work I had to fill out the forms, but fortunately the girl who attended us and I found a solution; I still keep the bracelet that they put on Santi at birth, which has the exact time of birth and this was what saved us.

They made me promise that in my next and last appointment of this process, I had to bring this information attached because in addition to delivering all the requirements, we were also assigned an appointment to sign as representative of the children, for which we must travel to Guayaquil, so soon I will be telling you about how we are doing.

Luego de pasar toda esta odisea, ya decidimos darnos un respiro aparte de que iba muy feliz y realizada porque pude entregar mis requisitos. Solo he ido a Manta por trámites específicos y aunque es una ciudad muy bonita no he podido conocer, Así que Eli me invitó a pasear un rato al mall y también a comer, luego de reírnos mucho nos acordamos que teníamos hijos en casa esperándonos y debíamos regresar.

After going through all this odyssey, we decided to give ourselves a break, apart from the fact that I was very happy and fulfilled because I was able to submit my requirements. I have only been to Manta for specific procedures and although it is a very nice city I have not been able to get to know it, so Eli invited me to go for a walk to the mall and also to eat, after laughing a lot we remembered that we had children at home waiting for us and we had to return.
