La Asunción y sus encantos [Esp/Eng]

¡Holis comunidad! ¿Qué tal todo? ¿Cómo está culminando su martes? El mío fue súper, visité la Asunción, tenía tiempo sin ir, pero era necesario visitar la capital debido a un pequeño problemín con el banco. Para mi sorpresa, el banco de la Asunción cambio de ubicación, así que tuvimos que caminar unas cuantas calles más. Sin embargo, fue muy satisfactorio caminar por las aceras de la Asunción, algo que todavía conservan es su arquitectura colonial y eso siempre me ha gustado, a pesar de que, como toda persona del siglo XXI, adoro lo moderno, nunca esa arquitectura superará a la atención al detalle que tienen las casas coloniales.

Hello community, how is everything? How is your Tuesday culminating? Mine was super, I visited La Asunción, I hadn't been there for a while, but it was necessary to visit the capital due to a small problem with the bank. To my surprise, the bank of the Assumption changed location, so we had to walk a few more streets. However, it was very satisfying to walk along the pavements of Asunción, one thing they still preserve is their colonial architecture and I have always liked that, even though, like all 21st century people, I love modern architecture, it will never surpass the attention to detail that colonial houses have.

Mi casa favorita fue esta, llamada LUCÍA; no es porque sea rosada, lo juro, solo que parece una casa de princesa, tiene muchos detalles y un diseño original. Su puerta de madera es lo que llama aún más la atención, junto con sus ventanales y las tejas en la platabanda; definitivamente esta sería una casa en la que felizmente podrías vivir. Me reconfortaría solo el hecho de tener la casa más bonita de la Asunción.

My favourite house was this one, called LUCIA; it's not because it's pink, I swear, it just looks like a princess house, it has a lot of details and an original design. Its wooden door is what catches the eye even more, along with its large windows and the tiles on the banister; this would definitely be a house you could happily live in. I would be comforted just to have the most beautiful house in Assumption.

Otras casas que también lograron llamar mi atención fueron estas. Las calles de la Asunción son angostas, pero pintorescas; muchas otras han quedado en el olvido y otras aún mantienen su brillo.

Other houses that also caught my attention were these. The streets of La Asunción are narrow, but picturesque; many others have been forgotten and others still retain their lustre.

Esta casa de color naranja, creo que es un restaurante; posterior nos encontramos con el Palacio Legislativo que conserva el estilo de toda la capital; supongo que es por su antigüedad. El bulevar también cuenta con este tipo de estilo y colores; sin embargo, han caído en el descuido humano.

This orange-coloured house, I think it is a restaurant; then we come across the Legislative Palace which preserves the style of the whole capital; I suppose it is because of its antiquity. The boulevard also has this kind of style and colours; however, they have fallen into human neglect.

El dispensario se ve muy antiguo; es el más grande que he visto. En mi municipio son súper pequeños, creo que por la modernidad. Pero definitivamente este dispensario es gigante, casi similar a un ambulatorio. Buscando en internet me fije que es súper antiguo, cuando mi mamá nació ya existía; así que los arquitectos y obreros que los diseñaron son el reflejo de un excelente trabajo duradero en el tiempo.

The dispensary looks very old; it's the biggest one I've seen. In my municipality they are super small, I think because of the modernity. But this dispensary is definitely gigantic, almost similar to an outpatient clinic. Searching on the internet I noticed that it is very old, when my mother was born it already existed; so the architects and workers who designed it are the reflection of an excellent work that lasts over time.
