Hail to the Hive!

Well it’s Saturday and that makes it Beer Saturday in my book so I have decided to reward myself as I am busy degreasing the engine bay of my narrowboat Badger

I am making progress and have managed to get rid of the oil and grease so I should soon be able to paint it all and make it nice for the new engine which will be installed soon.

@diveratt has joined me for our usual online 4 thirsty catch up. First time I have done a 4 thirsty from inside the engine bay. It’s much cleaner so I don’t mind. I’ve been in dirtier bars thats for sure.

This Plum Porter is delicious and slightly fruity with a hint of hops. It’s from Titanic breweries and I can only assume that they are called Titanic as the beers go down somwell. And man did these go down quickly too. They were delicious.

After a grey day in the engine bay these superb porters and a little early evening sunshine combined with a chat with @diveratt has rounded my day off nicely.

Time to open another, what say you?
