Beer Tasting: MATT Kraljica Roga & Bunker

🍻 🍺 Hello beer tasters! 🍺 🍻

Despite the fact that I was locked up at home for two and a half months, now that the #covid19 epidemic has subsided in my country, I am tired again. Years maybe? 😎

I need a break, at sea, with a glass of cold beer of course. Unfortunately, there is no time yet, but it will be soon, I hope within two weeks 😎 .

I am writing this for beersaturday week-157. What a big number. When did I get involved? I posted something about beers before, but my first #beersaturday post is here.
It's been a good two years since then and I've already written 125 posts about this, the third most popular liquid in the world ... huh ... maybe I'm exaggerating 🍻 🍻

Today I discovered a new local microbrewery MATT, Stara Cerkev, Slovenia. Because it is located on the edge of Kočevje primeval forest, and because there is the largest bear population in Slovenia, they called themselves "a bear-friendly brewery" :) 🐻 🐼 🐻 🐼

MATT Kraljica Roga

Kraljica Roga (engl. Queen of the Horn) is a Pale Ale style beer, 0.33 l bottle, alcohol 4.7% ABV.

Hazy amber color with solid foam. In the first sip, you can feel the bitterness of the hops, which is constant, and to a lesser extent also the aromas of herbs, which eventually recede. The bitterness of the hops prevails for some time after the last sip.
A good, refreshing beer, above average, maybe it could be IPA sooner than Pale Ale?

MATT Bunker

Dark brown color, with solid foam. Porter style beer, bottle 0.33 l, alcohol 5.1% ABV. In the first sip the aroma of coffee and forest fruits is felt, maybe a little chocolate.
Sweeter than bitter, the taste of smoked malt predominates over the fruit all the time, and it bothers, otherwise, it quickly disappears after the last sip. On average, nothing special about porter beer.

The Queen of the Horn suits me better with her distinct bitterness (it will go in my fridge) than the Bunker.
btw: if you follow my posts you may have noticed in the photos that I replaced the keyboard. I also wrote something about that because it was a whole disaster ...

I am getting ready for the sea and listening to the memories from last August, which I recorded at my favorite vacation spot, St.Spirit Beach, Island of Pag, Croatia. I don't know if it will be the same, because the world has changed, but music is eternal.
