Happy 122th Independence Day Celebration - June 12 | Philippines

It's More Fun In The Philippines!

My sense of patriotism is activated to the highest level celebrating the Independence Day with all Filipinos around the world.

The whole world is aware that we are a powerful nation because of our population, skills, talents, perseverance and compassion to our fellowmen.

I Am Proud To Be A Filipino!

I was able to dig from the antique chest these photos that I have taken using a Single-Reflex Camera (SLR). These shots were dated 22 years ago when we celebrated the Centennial Celebration of Independence and I am happy sharing it to everyone here on Hive.

My Photos:

This entry was won the 2nd Place out of the 60 entries of my fellow amateur photographers.

And this photo won the First Place.

I lost the medal that I stick here a long time ago beside the picture in the album.

Imagine winning the first and second place out of the 60 entries.

This is my third entry which still landed on the honorable mention list.

Patriotism

It is often said that patriotism is “more words than actions,” it does live still in the hearts and minds of many Filipinos, young and old alike.

Every Pinoys loves our country and it is said to be we are most willing to offer our lives to our Nation itself. This is the most noble way to show our sense of Patriotism.

Our heroes should be acknowledged why we attained this freedom from the conquistadors or the foreign people wanting to colonize our country for their own gains. I offer my prayers, my praises and this post for our brave men and women who fought to achieve this ultimate goal of FREEDOM for their fellowmen.

I won't make this post very long coz we all know for a fact that we revered this special day day in our hearts. I have also noticed that Filipinos instilled the Cultural Continuity which makes us really connected to each other because our flamboyant culture includes the deep regard for our fellowmen which until now we still have this quality that originated several centuries ago.

Mabuhay ang lahat ng kapwa Pinoy (Long live to our Fellow Filipino People)

Hello to all my friends here who continue to support me. I am now back.

First time to use #PeakD to post a blog.

One of people that I admire in the community. Thanks for dropping by. Yes, it's good that until now we were not colonized by any superpowers. See you around. I appreciate this.

It's good to see they're promoting how's the Philippines back then but I think it won't happen now.

I was amazed that you still have it even though it's already 22 years has passed.

It was so memorable. Been with super talented people when I just chose to make it as a hobby. Those moments were the happiest days of my life because my mom finally let me go to far places without being accompanied by her. Being happy and inspired most of the time let us produce amazing results.

Thanks for dropping by.

Indeed, it is an event worth remembering especially those personas who took part in fighting for the Filipino people.

As I watch the story of Dr. Jose Rizal at this very moment on TV. I can feel his agonies for our country. We're lucky and blessed to have lived by his deeds, a free Filipino, free from the bondage of tyranny and terror.
We are facing a different challenge today, with fervent prayers that it will soon be over.
