Sleep: Being restless when it comes to sleeping

Another week inspiration, @anttn I have always admired your topics and excellent write up you come about, I'm impressed to participate in this year first contest. This topic is a crucial thing to man kind, everyone no how sleep is important to man kind. In my own way of life is has been somehow difficult since when I was a little boy, sometimes I wonder whether I wasn't created to sleep as other's used to, sleep every day and night.

When it comes to sleeping, it has always been a problem to me, but in most of the cases I found myself it's also easy. My experience since I was a little boy, my mum told me how I usually disturb at night when others were sleeping, though I thought it was a normal experience to stay awake while others were sleeping, untill I noticed that, if you don't sleep atleast 9 hours in less than 24hours a day, it damage the Brain and it lead to too much of thinking and less Ideas because the Brain is not settled.

Sometimes at night when is 11:00pm, I found myself not still sleeping when others are there sleeping, though when I was 5 years old I was the type who love watching cartoons at night still day break then later sleep at 4:00am and wake up in 2hrs time. My mum will try to stop me from not watching of movies at night but I will Insist, now I know the effect is cursing in my daily life.

This days I hardly sleep, even having my siesta in the afternoon is so hard for me because sleeping was not really my hobby back then. Sometimes at night, I might decide to listen to a dry music so it could make me sleep early or take a book or novel and read, that will make the sleep come faster.

Furthermore, I also noticed in my daily life, any time I'm sleeping at night either late night or sleeping early I must be awake before 5:00am, I have noticed this for the past years, maybe it will be so easy for me to attend to my daily activities in life.

I noticed that sleeping is nature to man kind, even the plant, tree's, animal must sleep atleast 5-9 hours a day. To humans we can't control sleep, when it comes will be restless at that moment, that why God made it to be at night so our Brain could be settled and also be fresh again to start a new day.

Hello @jeremiah25 ! Thank you for this article in response to the challenge :D Reading the other entries, I realize that few people get enough sleep and of sufficient quality, but you seem to be on a different level ! But at least when you fall asleep, sleep seems to come quickly :)

As a child I was a bit like you and took literally hours to fall asleep, but I finally learned to love it...
