Espero que se encuentren disfrutando mucho de su estadía en esta bella colmena, el día de hoy me gustaría hablarles de una pregunta que me hacen muchos amiguitos a diario, ¿qué es Hive?

Probablemente si ustedes tienen un tiempo por aquí en la plataforma ya lo sepan, pero yo sé que por allí hay muchas personas que quieren conocer un poco más del tema.

Hive es una cadena de bloques (blockchain) que funciona de forma totalmente descentralizada, es decir que no tiene un dueño como una empresa u otro tipo de redes, sino que aquí todos somos dueños de un pedacito de la blockchain, ¡incluso yo!

Fue creada bajo el protocolo de Prueba Delegada de Stake que se abrevia DPoS, esto es muy importante saberlo, porque es lo que lo diferenca de otras cadenas de bloques.

Una de las principales características de Hive es que permite almacenar y recuperar cadenas de datos e información, y créanme cuando les digo que son cantidades muy grandes de contenido. Además, permite disponer del contenido para su monetización basada en el tiempo.

Las transacciones que lleva a cabo Hive se realizan cada tres segundos sin comisión, lo cual es maravilloso porque esto suele ser un desafío al desarrollar una cadena de bloques. ¿Por qué? porque pueden ser muy costosas.

Ahora viene mi parte favorita... ¿Cómo hace Hive para que el proceso no sea tan costoso? Bueno, Hive utiliza un mecanismo de "Créditos de Recursos" basados en el stake, es decir, la congelación de los fondos. De esta manera es posible realizar las transacciones sin comisiones.

La tecnología blockchain va creciendo cada vez más, sin embargo, aún es algo relativamente nuevo y desconocido por muchas personas, es por eso que Hive tiene como objetivo superar todas estas dificultades y permitir al usuario una experiencia agradable en la blockchain.
