Happy 1 Year on the Hive Block Chain and Finally Reached Rep 70!

Hi, Hive friends! Finally, I can publish this article which I've been waiting for since February 2024.

Let's celebrate! It was my 1st Birthday Hive last February 2024.

Yes, it's kind of late because I was just waiting for this badge to appear. A few months ago, there was a problem with Hive SQL so the Hive Buzz website wasn't working well.

Also, finally reached Reputation 70 after 1 year and almost 3 months since I joined. I delayed my Hive Birthday blog post because I want to publish this together when I reach Reputation 70. And this is it, I got this reputation just a few days ago.

What were my goals when I started Hive in February 2023?

I did not know what my expectations were when I started Hive. I was just happy that I earned my first HBD after 7 days because of my introduction post.

Along the way, I was thinking, what if I could earn 30 HBD monthly just by posting articles here on Hive?

Is it possible? Let's just say each article would earn 1 HBD if I publish in 30 days. Indeed, it is possible to earn 30 HBD a month. How much more if your articles get curated by curators and big whales? That would be fantastic.

I tried posting articles almost every day

Although it is possible to publish one article in a day in a month, sometimes it is very daunting. But I tried to publish 15 articles in a month when things weren't busy.

December 2023 - 20 articles, 64 HBD

  • we went to Paris for the Christmas week

January 2024 - 24 articles, 62 HBD

  • just stayed at home and visited some places so I got the chance to write

February 2024 - 12 articles, 22 HBD

  • we went on a ski holiday so I only posted a few articles

March 2024 - 29 articles, 68 HBD

  • stayed at home and visited some places near us

April 2024 - 27 articles, 54 HBD

  • mostly staying at home and visiting places

This is just me experimenting to know my potential earnings if I publish at least 15 articles in a month.

Anyway, this experiment won't be successful without the support of curators and upvoters. Of course, engagement is the key. :D

For May I might not be sure to publish 15 articles as we are preparing our children's baptism celebration.

Again, thank you so much for your support, and see you in my next blog. :D
