Saludos a todos en la comunidad Jewelry, me encanta tener comisiones porque es la oportunidad de hacer algo para otra persona con el mismo cariño pero a la vez con mayor compromiso porque la idea es siempre hacer feliz al cliente, es esta ocasión recibí la visita de una vieja amiga a quien no veía hace unos cuantos meses, ella me pidió ver los brazaletes macramé y quedó encantada, así que me dijo que le hiciera un brazalete de su signo zodiacal Cáncer, fue muy precisa en que quería la figura del cangrejo en fucsia y el fondo en negro, así que me pareció emocionante y de inmediato acepté la comisión y empecé el trabajo al siguiente día. Por motivos de mi alergia no pude trabajar con tanta velocidad pero pude finalizar el proyecto exitosamente al tercer día. Espero que además de mi cliente a ustedes también les guste el brazalete, del cual les comparto el proceso.
Greetings to everyone in the Jewelry community, I love having commissions because it is the opportunity to do something for another person with the same love but at the same time with greater commitment because the idea is always to make the customer happy, this time I received a visit from an old friend whom I had not seen for a few months, she asked me to see the macrame bracelets and she was delighted, so she told me to make her a bracelet with her zodiac sign Cancer, she was very precise in that she wanted the figure of the crab in fuchsia and the background in black, so I thought it was exciting and I immediately accepted the commission and started the work the next day. Due to my allergy, I couldn't work with such speed, but I was able to finish the project successfully on the third day. I hope that in addition to my client you also like the bracelet, of which I share the process.
Materiales / Materials
- Hilo acrílico para crochet: negro, fucsia y blanco.
- Tabla con clip
- Tijeras
- Regla de 30 cm
- Papel milimetrado y lápiz
- Acrylic thread for crochet: black, fuchsia and white.
- Board with clip

- 30 cm ruler
- Graph paper and pencil
Proceso / Process
Para diseñar el patrón tomé en cuenta las posibilidades del dibujo, si hacia un cangrejo muy pequeño no iba a poder hacer tantos detalles, es decir, tanto los ojos como las patas se tendrían que reducir al mínimo, por lo que preferí hacer un patrón un poco más grande para que el protagonista fuese el cangrejo bien detallado.
Si contamos los cuadros verticalmente entonces el patrón tiene 21, es decir que se trabaja con 21 hebras o hilo de guía.
Mientras que la cantidad de cuadro en línea horizontal son 74, es decir, que se harán 74 hileras de nudos. Cada cuadro representa un nudo simple, donde la hebra de anudar envuelve a la hebra guía dos veces.
To design the pattern I took into account the possibilities of the drawing, if I made a very small crab I would not be able to do so many details, that is, both the eyes and the legs would have to be reduced to a minimum, so I preferred to make a pattern one little bigger so that the protagonist was the well-detailed crab.
If we count the squares vertically then the pattern has 21, that is to say that it works with 21 strands or guide thread.
While the number of squares in a horizontal line is 74, that is, 74 rows of knots will be made. Each box represents a simple knot, where the tying thread wraps around the guide thread twice.
Con el hilo negro cortar 9 hebras de 60cm. 1 hebra de 80 cm y 1 hebra dejarla pegada al ovillo.
Ordenar las hebras a modo que las largas queden en los bordes izquierdo y derecho. Sujetar las hebras a la mitad con el clip de la tabla.
Usar las hebras largas (incluye la pegada al ovillo) para realizar 20 nudos planos, donde estas hebras envuelven a las hebras del centro, en forma de 4 y en forma de P alternadamente.
With the black thread cut 9 strands of 60cm. 1 strand of 80 cm and leave 1 strand attached to the ball.
Arrange the strands so that the long ones are on the left and right edges. Secure the strands in the middle with the board clip.
Use the long strands (including the one attached to the ball) to make 20 flat knots, where these strands wrap around the center strands, in the shape of a 4 and in the shape of a P alternately.
Doblar en forma de “U”, sujetar con clip, quedan 21 hebras más la hebra pegada al ovillo, esta última será usada para hacer los nudos de fondo.
Hacer 5 hileras de nudos simples.
Fold in a "U" shape, fasten with a clip, there are 21 strands left plus the strand attached to the ball, the latter will be used to make the bottom knots.
Make 5 rows of simple knots.
En la sexta hilera agregar el hilo fucsia por detrás y seguir haciendo nudos simples cambiando de color según el gráfico, para los ojos agregar el hilo blanco.
In the sixth row add the fuchsia thread on the back and continue making simple knots, changing color according to the graph, for the eyes add the white thread.
Al terminar el cangrejo hacer una hilera de nudos simples solo con color negro, hacer las letras con el hilo fucsia, dejando una hilera de separación entre las letras.
At the end of the crab make a row of simple knots only with black color, make the letters with the fuchsia thread, leaving a row of separation between the letters.
Al terminar las letras hacer un hilera de nudos de color negro y comenzar a hacer el corazón con hilo fucsia. Al terminar el corazón hacer 5 hileras de nudos negros como al principio del brazalete.
Separar las hebras en dos grupos (incluyendo la hebra de anudar el fondo), quedarán 11 hebras de cada lado, hacer dos trenzas y terminar con un nudo.
At the end of the letters, make a row of black knots and begin to make the heart with fuchsia thread. At the end of the heart make 5 rows of black knots as at the beginning of the bracelet.
Separate the strands into two groups (including the bottom tying strand), there will be 11 strands on each side, make two braids and finish with a knot.
