DIY; Ladies pajama flannel 🌺🎁💕 (Eng -Esp)
Greetings creative friends and diyhub community, I wish you are enjoying good health and have a great day, when the birthday of a loved one comes to my mind two images, cake and gift, both are important but the gift is a memory that the person treasures with affection and much more when it is made with our hands, one of my sisters birthday very soon and I'm already sewing her gift; an animal print pajama, (shorts and flannel), I could not finish the shorts because the bias ran out, I hope to buy soon and have the gift ready on time; I share with you the elaboration of the flannel.
Saludos amigos creativos y comunidad diyhub, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan un excelente día, cuando se acerca el cumpleaños de un ser querido vienen a mi mente dos imagénes, torta y regalo, ambas son importantes pero el obsequio es un recuerdo que la persona atesora con cariño y mucho más cuando es hecho con nuestras manos, una de mis hermanas cumple años muy pronto y desde ya estoy cosiendo su regalo; una pijama animal print, (short y franelilla), el short no lo pude terminar porque se acabó el sesgo, espero pronto comprarlo y tener listo el regalo a tiempo; les comparto la elaboración de la franelilla.

The first step was to mark and cut the pieces; rear and front.

Then I faced them right sides together, pinned and closed the sides with a straight stitch.
Luego las enfrenté por el derecho, sujeté con alfileres y cerré los costados con puntada recta
Once the flannel was assembled, I glued the bias binding on the front using decorative stitch for a better finish and embellishment on the garment, I also put yellow thread to highlight the stitch design.
Ensamblada la franelilla, pegué el sesgo en la parte delantera usando puntada decorativa para un mejor acabado y adorno en la prenda, además puse hilo amarillo para resaltar el diseño de la puntada.
The next step was to sew the bias binding on the back; I started by leaving a strip of thirty-two (32) centimeters that will serve to join the shoulders, I sewed all around the armhole and back with zigzag stitch, when I reached the other end I also left a strip of thirty-two (32) centimeters.
El siguiente paso fue coser el sesgo en la parte trasera; inicié dejando una tira de treinta y dos(32) centímetros que servirá para unir los hombros, cosí por todo el contorno de la sisa y espalda con puntada de zigzag, al llegar al otro extremo dejé igualmente una tira de treinta y dos (32) centímetros.
To attach the shoulder strap to the back, I measured eleven (11) centimeters from the sides to the center, at each point I placed the ends of the strips and sewed.
Para unir la tira de los hombros a la parte trasera medí once (11) centímetros desde los costados hacia el centro, en cada punto coloqué los extremos de las tiras y cosí.
The last step was to sew a wavy hem at the bottom or hem with a zigzag stitch, on the front I added an orange bow and that's how the flannel is finished.
El último paso fue coser un dobladillo ondulado en la parte inferior o ruedo con puntada de zigzag, en la parte delantera agregué un lazo color naranja y así está terminada la franelilla.
I liked the result of the flannel, besides the fabric is cool and soft, especially for hot days, at first I thought I might have difficulty to glue the bias binding when using the decorative stitch, but thank God there were no mishaps with the sewing and in a few minutes I finished the first part of my sister's gift.
El resultado de la franelilla me gustó, además la tela es fresca y suave, especial para los días calurosos, al principio pensé que podía tener dificultad para pegar el sesgo al usar la puntada decorativa, pero gracias a Dios no hubo contratiempos con la costura y en pocos minutos terminé la primera parte del obsequio de mi hermana.
