Young coconut dragon fruit ice

How are you all my friends, it's been a long time since I greeted you because there have been some activities that have kept me a bit busy in the last few days, but this time I'm back again to share another amazing drink recipe which is of course very refreshing.

Today is the third day of the month of Ramadan, and every fasting month in my area there will be lots of seasonal traders selling snacks and drinks to break the fast, even my mother does it too, and that's what keeps me a little busy these days, coincidentally fasting this year we have a new menu for us to sell, namely dragon fruit ice which I mixed with young coconut, to make it easier, I will share the recipe for just one portion, prepare the following ingredients to get started

MAIN INGREDIENTS

1 young coconut
200gr dragon fruit
A tablespoon of basil seeds
20gr honey
1 lemon (Medium sized)
Two tablespoons of granulated sugar solution
ice cubes

Those are the only ingredients we need to make this one serving of dragon fruit ice, and for honey I deliberately bought a 20 gram honey sachet because I was too lazy to get the honey at my mother's stall, the method is also very easy, we only need to mix all these ingredients in one glass (container), here's how to make it

step 1

First, soak the basil seeds in hot water and leave until everything expands perfectly, then split the coconut and separate the water, we don't use young coconut water in this drink, but if you like it you can do it, and cut the lemon we have prepared previously

Next, prepare a glass for us to make a drink and squeeze lemon juice into it, squeeze just enough and I suggest using only medium-sized lemons, otherwise the taste will be sour

Then, dredge the dragon fruit flesh in a shape according to your individual tastes, put it all in a glass until it looks like the last picture.

Then, put enough ice cubes into the glass, followed by adding the sugar that was dissolved earlier, and after that, take the young coconut meat, and dredge it in an elongated shape, so that it looks beautiful and tempting later, I recommend using coconut young ones that are a bit soft and the meat isn't full, like the one I use, put everything in a glass

The last step, put in the honey and basil seeds that we soaked before, and at this stage all the steps have been completed

If the glass is still not completely filled, then add water, or the young coconut water that we have separated, put everything in until the glass is full, but here I don't use young coconut water, I just add plain water and a few more ice cubes into the glass

This time, no one helped me mix this drink, that's why I can't see any pictures of me while I was preparing it, during the fasting month everyone is busy with their own affairs, especially in the afternoon, so I don't know who to ask for help with taking pictures me, but that doesn't matter at all, the most important thing is the final result

FINAL RESULTS

How, isn't it very tempting, the red color that is produced from dragon fruit really makes me very passionate when making it, even my fast is almost canceled because of it, not to mention the basil seeds and young coconut flesh which are clearly visible in the glass, seen from any angle this drink still looks amazing

The way to make it is very easy, that's why I deliberately added this drink to the menu list that my mother sells, and for the taste you will know when you try it later, I can guarantee that it will not disappoint you.

Unfortunately I can't enjoy this drink right away, because today I'm fasting, and have to wait a few more moments after I finish mixing the drink

The freshness of the lemon is very pronounced, and it really quenches my thirst after a day of enduring hunger and thirst, besides that the young coconut in it also makes me feel full. known to have many benefits that are useful for human health, because of that, lately many people who like dragon fruit
