Splinterlands Quidditch - My Splinterlands Journey- A Journey to Cherish

Thanks to @bdcommunity for bringing out one more contest and also Congratulations to all the winners so far.

It's like few days ago since the game of Splinterlands started, but in reality, we are already into Third year and have fought so many battles, but with regular introduction of cards and different types of packs, team of @splinterlands has kept the game interesting one even after 3 years.

If I recollect it correctly, the game started some time in May of 2018 and as a game lover, I was curious to see how it goes and purchased the starter pack and few Alpha packs as well.

My Alpha cards right now:

Not that great collection, as we weren't much aware of the progress and the way the game will go at that time and also, I sold some of the cards in quest of bringing more Beta cards.

So, until June 2018, it was just like purchasing few Alpha packs and play some practice games for fun without earning anything.

But, with the introduction of Beta packs and also introduction to DEC in June 2018, the game took us all to invest more time in it and that was the beginning of addiction of me to this game and there is no looking back since then!!!!!!

I started purchasing Beta packs as and when I use to get 2 or more SBD from my posts and you won't believe me waiting to get 2 SBD at that time just to purchase the packs and see whether I got any Legendary or Gold Foiled cards!!!!

I still remember the day when I got that Gold Foiled Legendary(just one GFL so far) Golden Dragon and the way I was jumping in ecstasy :)

Now, that is a history as there are more and more cards and different types of packs also introduced.

I still, keep purchasing the packs and cards either thru market of Splinterlands or from @monstermarket or even from steem-engine and hive-engine and still look for those Legendary and Gold Foiled cards like I used to do before and that will continue as long as the game exists!!!

Well, the game has been made more interesting with introduction of Tournaments (although, I am not a big fan of those) and also introduction of Guilds and happy to be in the guild of Team Possible initiated by one of my good old friend @davemccoy and others.

The collection of cards looks something great now as I have been purchasing the packs at cheaper rates from @monstermarket (thanks to @zaku and @reazuliqbal) and from steem-engine and hive-engine and would you believe I made it to Monster Maverciks status few days back only?

I have 37 Legendary cards itself to date and that shows how crazy I am with this game and the Legendaries I own are shown below:

It's been a good journey so far for me on Splinterlands and I have made quite a few friends from all over the World thru the game and I am one of the regular bloggers on Steem Monsters updates, battles, quests and contests and happy to be part of this ongoing contest from @bdcommunity as well.

Before I conclude, I would like to thank team of @bdcommunity (@zaku, @reazuliqbal, @simplifylife, @azircon and others) for bringing out this Third contest of this series and also to the efforts of dada @azircon in evaluating the posts for this contest.

I just want to shout out my fellow battlers @revisesociology, @stever82, @louis88, @belemo, @gungunkrishu, @ashikstd, @alokumar121, @reeta0119 and many others I can't remember right now who have helped with their suggestions and support or I just got inspired by their battling and blogging to bring out the gamer in me.
