A brief intro about myself, I am a young intelligent girl from the continent Africa, from a beautiful nation Nigeria and an adorable state AkwaIbom.
I am a gospel minister, but I minister Christ through songs, I love God and I am addicted to him.
My hobbies are singing, reading, writing, and travelling. I love meeting people and making new friends and least I forget my beautiful name is Glory.
Having known this little about me let's begin.

This is my entry to BDCommunity writing contest- week 5. To be truthful and candid this is my first time of getting to post in this great community and participating in this writing contest ever, so I pray and hope that my post will get your recommendations and upvote😉😂

Like I earlier said when I introduced myself I love meeting people and making new friends so that's one point to tell you that I love traveling, Surprise? Oh no don't be.
Many people have phobia for many things same as me, phobia for water side, phobia for traveling etc. But amongst all my phobia I don't think I have phobia for traveling because it exposes me to new things like getting to meet or see new people, learn about other peoples culture, know what they eat, see how they dress, if possible learn their language. I have been traveling ever since I was young but its has always been around my state. At least I can remember those times when i was quite young, I and my siblings usually go visiting my grandmother, she will take us round the village, take us to her farm lands of course you know the African people are known for farming. She will even take us to streams to bath. I can remember vividly one of her farms that we had to cross a little local bridge made with bamboo, I was so scared because as far as I am concern I have a huge phobia for water.
Remembering all this experience made my childhood so interesting, sometimes I wish going back to be a child were I was being pampered and beg to eat, bath, sleep etc but its not possible because I can't remain in one place for ever I have to grow, see things and explore life.

Like I said I have travelled but mostly round my state, they very first time I had the chance to travel outside my state was when I finished my secondary education (that is high school) and that was 2009 which was to go visit one of my mom's younger sisters, that's my aunty who lived in the capital city of my country. Well so to say my joy knew no bound going to the capital of my country.🤓🤓🙄😉
While travelling I got to see big rocks, mountains etc. which I normally see on the television or text books. I got to see the two big rivers in my country, that is River Niger and River Benue, the bridge built over this river was so long and wide which made me wonder how many days was used in building it. Since I have phobia for water I dare not put my face across the transit to view it because of fear to fall off into the water😉😉🤓. My traveling experience to and fro that great city was all yummy and successful. One thing I dread about travelling is accident but God took me down there and brought me safely.

When I actually travelled down to Abuja the capital of my country I got to learn other peoples culture, the little time I stayed there I could learn simple greetings from the Hausa(a tribe in my country), I even got to plait one of their hair style😂. I met and made new friends which in turn made me sad, as i had to shade a little tears when I was about going back to my state, it was so emotional though😭😭 and I which to see those sets of people someday some I can still remember.

This is one of the rocks I got to see at Abuja from my aunt's house were she lived we could see the rock afar off.👆👆👆👆👆

I have had other travelling experiences but I just decided to share this one since it was my very first time of travelling outside my state. When another opportunity is given for us to share our travelling experiences then I will bring up other places I have travelled to and the experiences I had over there, but for the mean time, be satisfied with this.

So sorry that the pictures I will share may not be original and may not have much relation to my travelling to Abuja, since its really been long I made that journey and besides I wasn't mobile by then to have taken pictures, and even if I did I would not have kept it till now, because maybe i wouldn't have known that this kind of opportunity would come and aside that the gadget would have gotten spoilt or something. But not to worry next time I will try to make it real.
Once again thanks for finding out time to read my little story, I really appreciate.

I remain
