A SUNDAY to REMEMBER

Its been almost 2 months since I have enjoyed an evening in my building's rooftop. I have spent more than 2 hours and it feels so fresh. I almost forgot the outbreak and what's it doing to the whole world. I think its the nature that heals me for the time being. The gentle breeze and blu sky - a beautiful combination of nature that gives relief from the tension around me for the outbreak.

Most of the time around 3 pm to 6 pm I normally don't feel good. When I was a kid I used to play outdoor sports. I missed that very much. Often, I feel so empty. I can vividly remember some of those moments. I was a star player in my time. I used to play for many teams. People hired me to play for their team...I will share the stories some other day...

Today is SUNDAY. Normally it's the 1st day of the week when people go to the office in my country. But due to the corona outbreak, I am staying at home and doing office from home. So, I don't normally go out of the home. If I count then it would be more than 49 days since I have tasted the breeze of the evening. Yaa...

Today I decided to go to the rooftop of my building. So, me, my wife, and my 3 years son went to the rooftop. I was surprised to see no one there. There are 17 families live in the building and most of them have kids. Its the only playground for the kids. So, I was expecting a few of them but fortunately for me, no one was there. I feel so relieved. I saw a few trees on the rooftop. Few vegetable trees, few flower tress, and some other tree which I don't recognize them. But I loved them when found out in the rooftop.

I also see kites flying in the sky. It's been years since I have seen kites flying in the sky. I used to do that in my childhood with my friends in the field. I was not very good at this, I have to admit that. I can remember the last time. I feel sad for a few moments. Normally, I don't have the time to see the kites flying in the sky for doing a job. So, I had the luxury today.

So, overall Today was the day of remembrance of my childhood. There are lots of memory just came before into my eyes. Then I watch a little child playing football in the rooftop. It's so nostalgic for me. Today is one of the best SUNDAY I have ever passed.
