The movie shared light on a couple which was going through a rough patch in their marriage due to the death of one of their daughters who died in a water accident. The couple couldn’t cope with the loss and things fall apart between them fast. Despite the fact that they still have a daughter left from their marriage, they couldn’t still reconcile their differences and when the divorce papers were served from the wife to the man, it simply depicts the depth of having things have crumbled.

In the midst of the family drama, the institute of technology came up with a model to predict an earthquake. After Los Angeles was hit a mini earthquake, they discovered that they will be a huge earthquake in Sans Francisco and it is going to be the biggest earthquake in the world based on their readings. The Institute of Technology did their part to make sure that the news of this earthquake gets to the appropriate authorities and they suggested that the whole of Sans Francisco should be evacuated.

Talk about a movie that involves portraying of natural disaster without throwing out the action, family and drama part of it through the window; then San Andreas is definitely the movie to watch. It basically puts you the edge and you are been carried along from the beginning to the end. You get to feel empathy for the casts in the movie for they really made the movie seems like a life event which was re-lived and every human instinct for survival was depicted.

My overall review of this movie is that the movie stands out from any other movie created around a natural disaster module. The production of the movie was so on point and it looks like the event were real and was recorded for us to see. It is hard to fault a flawless movie such as this because it was educative, engaging and also teaches one what to do in cases where a natural disaster such as earthquakes occurs. I rate the movie 5 out of 5. By the way, the movie was released in 2015.

I have also made it a habit of at least telling us about one cast in each of my reviews. So on that note, I will be talking about DWAYNE JOHNSON who acted the role of Ray in the movie. We all know Dwayne to always lights up a movie and in this movie, he didn’t disappoint. I am running out of superlatives to describe him because anytime he is been called upon, he delivers without a fault. As Ray in the movie, he was a father going through a hard time processing the death of one of his daughters and it affected his relationship with his wife. He also happens to work with the fire department after serving in Afghanistan in the Army. He was also faced with the task of saving his only surviving daughter from dying the earthquake. Did he accomplish his mission? That’s left for you find out when you watch the movie.
