Beautiful Nepal: It's Party Time.

I woke up and heard someone calling us. I got up from the bed and looked outside. It was Mahendra's mother. Mahendra and my other's friends were still sleeping. I was trying to wake them all but they were in a deep sleep. After trying hard and soul for five minutes Mahendra woke up. I told him that his mother was calling him. So, he told me to wake other's and fresh ourselves.

After that we all washed our mouth and feet, ready for the evening tea. Mahendra and his mother were so kind to us, they brought a big ball with "Luchi" and tea for us. We began to enjoy our evening snacks and started talking about our night time party. We planned that we would organize a Barbecue party at night and enjoy some local Roxy. So, we shared our idea with Mahendra as he was going to manage everything. So, he told us to put up our shoes and get ready.

I thought we would go for a walk to the bazaar. But No, Mahendra cleared all my confusion when he told us that we had to go to his teacher's house to buy the chicken. So, we started our evening walks towards Mahendra's teacher's house.

We were walking in the dark and there were only a few lights blinking near the bazaar. We were gossiping with each other and trying to find the right paths. After walking for 15 minutes we reached Mahendra's teacher's house. We were waiting outside and Mahendra started to call his teacher "Prem, sir", "Perm, sir". His teacher came out and talked to Mahendra. Mahendra introduced us with his teacher. Then Prem sir, took us inside the house. When we were going inside we saw Prem sir's beautiful wife working there. After that Prem sir bought a bottle of Roxy to welcome us. Every Newari house welcomed their guests with a glass of Roxy. Mahendra told us to enjoy the Roxy. So, we started to drink. When we were drinking Prem sir came with a big Jungly chicken. We were all astonished because the chicken was so heavy and healthy.

After that Mahendra also joined us and started drinking. Prem sir's wife also brought some Pakora for us and another bottle of Roxy. I told Mahendra don't drink too much or we will not go to your home. But he smiled and started drinking again. After half an hour we were totally drunk and Mahendra started to share his memory with Prem sir. He was laughing and joking. He called prem Sir and told him "I love you Prem sir". My other two friends were totally drunk and I was thinking How can I get them out?'' Finally I paid the bill, took the chicken and told them let's go.

One of my friends felt like he was going to fall down, I held him and started walking. All the way they were talking about shits. Somehow we reached Mahendra's house. I gave the chicken to Mahendra's mother and told him to keep half for the family and we will Barbq the other half. After that I told two of my friends to rest a little bit and went with Mahendra to prepare for the Barbq.

All done, now our main chief was Rabin who was also my wonderful friend from Nepal. I went inside the house for something. When I came back I saw Rabin put the pieces on a steel wire and put it on the fire without any masala or salt, just nothing.I was totally shocked. But nothing I could do. I thought they might have eaten like this. At that moment my friends also came to join me there. When they saw that we all were looking at each other. It was a funny moment. But finally our “fired chicken”(I named this as fried chicken) was ready to serve. Mahendra brought his reserve bottle of Roxy and 5 glasses. We started eating and it was very good. We were taking a sip of Roxy and “fired chicken”(Not Fried Chicken).

It was a memorable night.I will never forget this night. When we finished eating , we were still hungry. It was 2:30 at night, and we were thinking about what we ate. Suddenly, Mahendra jumped up and climbed a pomelo tree. And came up with four pomelos. We finished them all. Then we played some music and started dancing and drinking.
