Sitakunda Tour (A dream came true story)

when i was child, from my curiosity i questioned my around people how can I catch cloud?
Someone answered me that if you wanna catch cloud then you need to go a big hill upstairs and after that time i dreamed about to climb a big hill and catch cloud.

In Bangladesh, there has a place where you can find big hills and that was Chittagong division. There has plenty of big hills and there has a place where you can find hill and sea in one place and that place name is Shitakunda. A beautiful place where you can find all types of natural creation likes Hills,sea, waterfall.

Last 2 years i tried to go there but i could not manage to go there for many reason.
One day, a closest friend of mine told me that "hey mahedy,we are gonna make a trip at Shitakunda", if you wanna come with us then get ready for that now cause we will go our trip today's night.

when i heard that i can't believe that that's why i questioned him are you makes fun with me?
He told me "no,i am sure" then i believed him.

1 January2020, at 2:30 pm, It was approximately 6 hours train journey.we reached Shitakunda at early morning. From railway station we saw our destination Chandranath hill top and that moment was energetic.

After left Shitakunda station, we decided that at first, we take our breakfast then we will take the road to Chandranath hill.we find a small restaurant besides the station,we finished our breakfast there and then we take a local vehicle (CHG) from here cause from the station the hill was approximately 8-9 k.m far,so, that's why we took vehicle for save our time and energy.If we could not make that decision then i think we could never climb top of the hill cause it was really tough to climb that hill.

8:30 PM,we reached the Chandranath hills welcome gate.

At the top of the hill, there has 2 Hindu prayer practice place(people called that mondir) .One situated at the middle of the hill and other one was at top. The top of the hills mondir was bigger compare with at the other mondir which situated at the middle of that hill.

In every year,there has a specific time when hindu religion people comes here for praying.

At the welcome gate of Chandranath hills there had few daily needs shops,

we brought some water from here for save our body to get dehydration cause when you climb climb a hill you can feel lack of oxygen that's why you get dehydrate easily.we can find a place where some people sell stick which was really important for climbing. so, every Person in our group brought a stick which cost 20 taka. After brought something goods which will help us in our climbing we started our climbing for our destination.

About 20 minutes climbing we find a waterfall which is a only hot waterfall in Bangladesh. we stay there for few minutes to enjoy the beauty of nature then we get back to our climbing.

From the water fall there have two roads for go to the top of the hills.

1.At the right side of waterfall there was concrete banist which goes to the top of the hill and this road was hard for climbing. Further more, it's gonna make you tired easily.

1. The left side road was soil road this road goes to another hill where you can find a small mondir and from there , there has a another soil road which reached us the top of the hill where is our final destination.If we reached there we can find the big mondir and cloud.

So, we take the second road cause there has a another mondir and a hill where we can find more natural scenery compare with first road. Further more, we went there for enjoy the natural .

we start our climbing through that road.we catch some beautiful scenery when we go through by that road.

After 35 minutes climbing we reached that small mondir and it was the top of that hill,local people told us that hill is 1000 feets high from sea level

but it's not our destination, our final destination at right side of that hill where you can find the big mondir what name is Chandranath Mondir, local people call that hill (Chandranath pahar).

After get rest here for few minutes we Start our climbing to the final destination. At that road we find some small local shop

where you find local fruits like Banana, Coconut, bread, mineral water and the price of these goods was double compare with at hill welcome gate side shop but the fruits was fresh and local. If you get tired to climbing you can rest here for some times.

we reached our final destination 20 minutes later from when we left our last rest place.

It was 1600 feets above from sea level, when we see around of that hill we realized that some cloud near by us, now we can catch the cloud,

It was a rainy day and we get as much cloud we imagined.

It was looks like my dream came true.""Ohh what a what a beautiful moment that was, cloud touch my body,the view from the top of that hill touch my soul ". At that time i just thik that if i staying here for forever.That was a unforgettable experience and i will keep that in my mind forever.
