Describe your para: My neighborhood

Hello there! Welcome to my blog! It is a great privilege to be part of this contest, I'm really excited.

I actually heard about this contest from a friend some minutes ago who is also here in the hive platform telling me that it will elapse today so I thought I could still be a partaker before the time elapses.

A very big thank you to the organizers of this contest, contests like this helps one to really sit down and study his or her environment as well improving one's writing skills amongst others.

I think I'm not late for the contest, at least it is better late than never. So that premise, I will just "Describe my para".

Precisely, my neighborhood is filled with untarred roads, honking of trains, movement of children and adults, cars, motorcycles, cabs etc.

Well, I live in the city of Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, in a place called Calabar Itu road in Itu Local Government Area.

Life in my neighborhood is somehow very cool and calm but sometimes busy but there are no robbery, thieves, cults members etc who disturb people in the environment.

I have lived in my present environment for quite 5 years now and that is because my dad was transferred to pastor one of our churches here where I stay.

I don't really have friends though and people are just themselves minding their businesses and all of that.

I will at this point say that I don't really know how things goes over here in my environment that is because I've not always been here, I'm always in school and I do come to visit here during some weekends and holidays so I don't really know how things are over here.

But I will say that, since 2015 till now, I will say that people living around my neighborhood are peaceful, respectful, friendly and calm.

I'm still struggling on how to write about my environment, okay so my street is one where working class people stay, hence, it makes the street always busy with noises from cars and those who have shops.

Since I heard about this contest few hours ago, I missed my opportunity of taking pictures of how busy my street is but I will just show you guys the little I took. Apart from that, due to the ongoing pandemic, my street is not really busy as it should unlike before.

Everyone is stucked - up at home especially students cos of the ongoing pandemic in the whole world.

Here is a picture of some few persons going for work, there are usually more than these since I heard about this late, I missed talking those pictures.

Over here there are good lands one can build on, so on that note, many people come feom other Local Government Areas to buy land and build their houses maybe for themselves and some for rents.

There are also some small piece of land where people plant.

This is the little I know about my neighborhood. I hope you didn't get bored while reading.

Thank you for engaging my blog, I appreciate.

These places look way off as I had expected in Uyo. They need to be tard!
Well, when I was schooling in Uni Uyo, I lived around Ikot Ekene road axis so I rarely came aroud Calaber Itu area.
It's nice to know that area is peaceful though, with everone minding their businesses.

Thank you for sharing.
