Kevin's love story with Hannah started way back in high school. Kevin had been transferred from his former school to Hannah's after his father made them move again due to his job.
Him and Hannah had both started on a wrong foot. But somehow things had change and the both of them had become close, too close.
But not all good things last forever because three months into their relationship, Hannah broke up with Kevin through a text. According to the text, she and her presumed ex-boyfriend were not really broken up. They only had a little misunderstanding before Kevin came into the picture.
Kevin cleaned the tears in his eyes as he read the last line of the text. "I'm sorry but I'm back with my ex".
The next few days after that had been terrible. Kevin's young heart was broken and there was no one he could talk to. But as every second passed, he accepted reality and learned to move on.
Six years later, Kevin was in his second year in the university studying Electrical Engineering. His life was going good. There was no drama, no nothing. Well until some days before valentines day when he ran into Hannah in his school. She had come to stay with a friend for a little while. The anger of what she did to him six years ago was no longer there so he had embraced her. They both exchanged numbers and promised to be in touch.
Few days after that they were both hanging out. It was more like a date but none of them were bold enough to admit it. But it became obvious that they were still very fond of each other after going out for the third time, so Kevin decided to give it one more shot, he asked Hannah to be his girlfriend, again.
Three days was all it took Hannah to accept his proposal. Then it was high-school all over again. Everything was great afterwards. Their love story was like one from the television but it didn't take long before things started going sideways. It seems like history wanted to repeat itself.
It turned out Hannah's ex-boyfriend was in town and wanted them to meet.
“Same ex-boyfriend from six years ago?” Kevin asked after she told him about his request.
“No.. This is someone else”.
“Well why are you still in touch with him? I thought you guys broke up”.
“We didn't really break up, I moved”. Hannah replied.
“So what? He wants you back?”
“I don't know”.
“Do you still love him?”
Hannah sighed. “I can't answer that..I don't want to lie to you”.
“What?! ” Kevin said before storming out. He had had enough for one day and was going to clear his head. He knew he didn't deserve to be treated this way, he was a good guy but maybe being a good guy was his problem...
