Double Mission

"They both realized that working together was the only way to survive".

When Eric, a member of a secret organization accepted a mission from his superior to kill Dante, a member of another secret organization, he didn't know how crazy the whole thing will turn out.

With no questions asked, Eric had collected a file from his superior which he believed contained every detail he needed to know about Dante and he had studied it carefully, making sure he didn't miss anything. Every detail on that file was vital to his mission.

But the organization had lied to Eric. They had told him that Dante was a low ranking member with little or no combat skill but Eric had barely escaped with his life when he attacked Dante. So Eric decided to do a little more digging of his own. But what Eric didn't know was that Dante had been given the same mission too and he too had been lied to.

Dante knew something wasn't right either because his mission was suppose to be an easy one. He had expected to be attacked in his home but he had been told his attacker was an amateur but there had been nothing amateurish about his attacker. If he had let his guard down, he probably would have been dead by now. So he too started doing some extra research of his own. He needed to know who was coming after him and why the organization he had dedicated nine years of his life to had lied to him.

By the time Eric was done with his research, he realized that his organization had left out some very important information on purpose because there was no way they had forgot to tell him that the man he was sent to kill was one of the top members of another organization. If they had both been in the same organization, they would both be of the same rank.

At the other end, Dante discovered something much more alarming. Not only had he been lied to about his attacker but the two organizations had sent them both against each other, hoping that they both would kill themselves. The organizations wanted them both dead.

He was furious. “Everyone one of them would pay for betraying him like this”. Dante vowed. But he couldn't do it alone, he knew he needed help. So Dante looked back at the face displaying on his monitor, his attackers name was Eric.

Maybe it was time him and Eric worked together.
