I choose to be happy!
The other day, I was having a conversation over the phone with one of my close friends. We talked about life and how everything is going. He was talking about how this pandemic ruined some of his plans and how everything is not going as plan. And he was surprised getting my calm and stressless response.
Yeah, I taught myself to choose what matters to me, which makes me happy. It may sound really wired. And he was also saying, you women can only do that, men never can think this way, sacrifice many things and still feel happy.
It's true, I learned to see things differently after becoming a mom. Maybe women have the special power to find happiness in little things or maybe women actually explore more. I don't know what's true. But what I know is 'happiness is a choice, a choice that you can make.'
It may not sound great if I give you some tips for happiness. But let me share something which helped me to choose happiness over anything!
There are many things that pop in my mind in the middle of the night just like others and keep me awake. Yeah, truly. I know it's not a sign of happiness. But I continuously give myself the message that nothing matters actually, no matter how many plans I make something will still be there which I can't control and I have to change my plan. That's why I never hold anything back, I let go my emotions, my attachment so I can move on.
So many people I've left behind, so many things I give up on. Believe me, those never make me feel bad. I know that I choose to make better choices and these choices will make me and my surroundings happy.
Every day when you have to make micro-decisions you can choose your well being. It's not synonymous with selfishness. It's more like choosing what is better for everyone. Remember, if you are not happy, you can't make anyone happy and will fail to spread happiness. Your words, your attitude will express your true feeling. So better find ways to make yourself happy.
Maybe it's about giving up over your business, maybe it's about turning your perspective of life, maybe it's simply breaking up a relationship. No matter what it is, if you think it will make you happy you should go with it.
We can't make the world a better place if we are not happy and peaceful. Our happiness matters.

I must apologize... Having so many things going on in life, I failed to comment on this wonderful #thoughtfuldailypost...
I must say this is not 'always' the case. Having been raised by women, as well as grandparents, I have a much different outlook on life. And dealing with my Multiple Sclerosis... this has come to be very beneficial for me.
I thank you my friend, for using my TAG, and hope you are doing well !tip
That's what I also believe, it's not always the case. We all can find happiness in the way life is. This is why changing our perspective is necessary.
Thanks for your time and support. It means a lot.
Have a nice day!
