The Grindstone

What a week, phew! The most exciting thing that happened to me this entire week was a couple hours back when I had to push our car back when it broke down in the middle of nowhere. Called a couple more guys from home to help out and we took turns at the wheel. This was also the most physically active I have been this week.

So yeah, phew! What a boring week!

But that's not to say I was fooling around. I've kept myself at the grindstone, case after case. Wake up, eat, study, eat, sleep. Repeat.

I don't like being sedentary, but this has just been one of those weeks. I've been exactly how I advice my patients to not be :D

And that's pretty much how it has been for a few weeks now, give and take a few walks here and there. But that has to change.

Friday came as a relief, our discord hangout has become the highlight of the week. That tells you all you need to know about my social life. But that's cool, I don't really have the luxury to afford a social life for the next few months. Let's put a pin to it for now, we'll revisit social life after January.

The long, boring international football break has finally ended. Premier League, La Liga and Champion's League returns this weekend and a lot of exciting matches coming up in the next couple of weeks. I gotta choose wisely which matches to watch, else I'll be playing catch up with my studies for the rest of the month!

I'm particularly looking forward to the Liverpool-Everton Derby, City-Arsenal clash in the weekend and Barcelona-Juventus champions league match in a couple weeks' time.

Sipping into a cup of black coffee while watching games has become a habit. Which reminds me, I need to get my coffee grinder out tomorrow and replenish my jar of ground coffee. Yes I need to pre-grind, which I know is not optimal for taste. Freshly ground coffee always tastes better, but it is what it is :)

One good thing about being busy the last couple of weeks is, I was nowhere near as frustrated with the Hardfork. My activity on the chain was almost non existent, and I didn't really have the time to play for the splinterlands season end too. So I was spared from the anguish of fleeing important battles on the last day due to node issues owing to the HF :D I did have a few flees, but I had given up on the season end long before :)

Gotta go smell the grindstone!
