What message is this new Steem HF sending to the world about cryptocurrencies?

The entire cryptoverse was anticipating great stuff to happen in the cryptosphere with bitcoin halving and much anticipated mass adoption to begin as the CoVid-19 Pandemic exposed a broken system. A name as big as J. K. Rowling, the freaking creator of Harry Potter, got interested in cryptocurrency! That was a very big step forward towards mass adoption and it had surely brought a lot of eyes into the crypto space.

Just when things were starting to look good for cryptocurrencies in general, Lord Voldemort decided to Cast Avada Kedavra.

What were you thinking Justin Sun? I mean, WHAT THE ACTUAL F..K were you even thinking! Nullifying balances of actual STEEM investors, real people with real money who had invested in STEEM! Doesn't matter they got HIVE airdropped, HIVE has nothing to do with their steem holdings. They bought these steem with their own money and you can't just decide to nullify their stakes just because they got airdropped some other tokens or they didn't agree with you!

  1. Getting HIVE airdrop was their bonus, you had nothing to do with it! You didn't airdrop it to them, so you can not justify nullifying their stakes by saying they got compensated in HIVE. You didn't F---&ng do it! Maybe you're just a jealous teenage boy! Grow up, be a man! Grow yourself a Dick, you're 29 years old for f-%kshit's sake!
  2. You are nullifying their money because they were against you! Do you even realize what this means to decentralization? Do you understand cryptocurrencies at all? Probably not, your shit-coin Tron says all people need to know about your intellect.

This is a major setback for cryptocurrency. The Muggles (Non-magic folk, magic = cryptocurrency) are already pretty skeptical towards cryptocurrencies. And now, if, just by altering codes and stuff you can absolutely vanish someone's crypto holdings, someone's hard earned money...Abracadabra - poof! What message does that send to the outside world? What message does that send to crypto holders in general?

You are essentially going to set cryptocurrency back by 10-15 years at least, all the progress made in the last decade will be nullified when you nullify peoples' cryptocurrencies just because you are mentally incapable of leading a company and they saw right through you!

You got exchanges to steal their customers' funds to collude with you in a hostile takeover. What message is this sending to everyone that holds cryptocurrency?

For cryptocurrency to go mainstream, mass adoption was absolutely necessary and this just delays that by a very, very long time. People who were just starting to get interested in cryptocurrency, they'll be driven away. No one wants to lose their money like that, in the blink of an eye just by someone altering a few codes and stuff.

As @shoemanchu had pointed out in a chat earlier, this will bring in a lot of unwanted attention from the government and the feds. There might be attempts at centralizing cryptocurrencies which just entirely goes what cryptocurrencies stand for. Well done Justin Sun.

It is indeed a sad day for cryptocurrency. For people who believe in cryptocurrency. It saddens me to think there's nothing to be done to stop this. And he is just robbing money in broad daylight and we have to be just mere spectators of his shitshow. I hope he doesn't get away with this. I'm sure he won't. But what will his mistakes cost the entire cryptoverse? At this time, we can only speculate.

Until Next Time!

Peace!

It's crazy. How some mature person can take revenge in such a way.
I can't tolerate this s**t!

I have serious doubts about his maturity. He takes decisions based on emotion. They're being very childish about this whole thing.
