I was actually thinking which one will I share because as an introvert I rarely have friends but the one I have I really cherish our time together, every moment is one of the best moment I have ever witness. Let me share one. After university, we all have to go for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) according to my country rules. So I apply for it and I picked the 4 states I want but in my mind I was praying for just one state which was delta state because my sister served there and it is just 4 hours journey but when the D day came and I went to checking my posting letter, I was shocked and sad when I saw Adamawa (Yola). That state is really far from home and it was more than 30hours journey taking a bus, state I don’t even know anyone plus lot of bad news. Had no choice and embarked on the journey to this states with some new corps members, I was just on my low introvert mood, watch movies and listen to song till we reached the state the next day. Getting to the camp site and during the camp activities I rarely talk or mingle with anyone.

I am this type of guy that love band because am a trumpet player, so to lift my mood I joined the NYSC band and fortunately for me I met this guy he is also a trombonist and really good with it. He is also a funny guy, we talked and before I know it, I started laughing and throughout the camp period he became friends and both of us didn’t redeploy from the state. We stayed but unfortunately the camp was cut short because of the corona virus. We move out of the camp premises and join a family house were we will be staying. Since we are new in the state we decide to stroll out and check how the states look out. We really enjoyed ourselves moving from one place to another and seeing different things.

It got to a point, we were hunger and branch at a restaurant to eat, I actually saw fried rice and chicken among the pictures on the wall and I was shocked when they told me they don’t sell chicken, I ordered for their so call fried rice and fish, the rice was somehow not even proud to call it fried rice but we don’t have a choice, we ate it that way. It was really a memories I will always cherish, meeting him was a blessing and am grateful. Even though we both are in our various home now, we are really waiting for the time this pandemic will be over finally, we still have lot of memories to uncover, lot of places to visit and things to do together. This is one of my best Adda
