[গ্যাংটকে গন্ডগোল] ~ Air Conditioner Village (My Experience)

Feels good to hop into this community again. Thanks to @BDCommunity for organizing another contest for this week tagged "My funniest travel adventure"

Scanning through my mind, I have had many memories from the different travel experiences I had and the places I visited. But the only one I would always remember even in my wildest dream is this one I am about to share.

This happened last year. My church had a program in which we were to attend in another rural area in my state but a different local government from mine.
The name of the place is called " Ekoi Atan Ubom" which is in my local dialect.

I have never been to the place and so I had no experience of how it was going to be or what was awaiting me over there. I just knew I was all set and excited about the journey.
I had my bags packed and ready for the big day to set out for the journey.

The D-day arrived but we couldn't set out for the journey so we postponed it till the next day. The coming day we all got into the bus (I and my friends) and we headed out on our journey.
The journey was quite a pleasant and fun-filled one. We sang and made a lot of noise on the bus until we got tired.
Everything was good and we finally arrived at our destination.

We arrived later in the evening. And when we got down, only the cold air alone welcomed us to the village.
I was like "What? Why is it so cold like this?" Others busted into laughter
Naturally, my body system isn't used to excess cold.
So immediately I got there I easily realized the environment was just too cold for my liking but I couldn't do anything than tried to adapt.

We unpacked and settled and we did what we were supposed to do for that day. Soon it was night; time to sleep and rest for the next day.

This is when my adventure began, tell me about it😂🤭
We all lay down and slept that night. Not too long, after like an hour or two when I thought I had slept, only for my mind, spirit, soul, and physical body to suddenly freeze. I tried to endure it but I couldn't.
I was shaking and gnashing my teeth. I jumped and woke up in the middle of the night, making a fuss because of the coldness.
You needed to see how I was shaking and making different kinds of sound with my lips.

I sat down for a while shaking and freezing from the cold in the middle of the night, some people who heard the noise woke up, and when they noticed what was happening to me, they had to look for clothing to cover me up, yet it wasn't enough to protect me from the cold but I just had to manage since it was better than before.

Everybody was amazed at how the coldness got into my system so deep that nothing could be done to help the situation.
They all waited until in the morning when everybody was awake. They all made fun of the incident and were all laughing at me. Saying that a simple cold would have finished me up in the night🤭😂

The village is extremely cold, nobody doubted it but the rate at which I was feeling the cold was second to none. This memory I never forget in a rush.
And we tagged that place " Air Conditioner Village"
It's was extremely cold, even the water (river water) was badly cold.

Then morning that breaks a new day in the village feels like a day spent inside your refrigerator; a deep freezer to be very precise. The location is that cold.

I would have loved to go on and on talking about the adventures I had over there but I would like to wrap it up here.
