Generosity And Gratefulness

Speaking of generosity, it was about yesterday just when I was returning from school. I had to trek with my friends to the bus stop to board a taxi home. On getting to the junction, we saw a man selling popcorn and so decided to buy and keep our mouths busy. After buying, we all went our separate ways. I was about to board a taxi only for the driver to tell me the amount he was collecting for the journey. It wasn't so new, since we've been used to their change of prices so many times, but I was hoping to be lucky to board a taxi with a fair amount.
When I walked away, the driver called me back, and when I asked why, he told me I was asked by the man inside the taxi to join them.
On entering, the man said he was going to add up the payment so I thanked him and settled in.

When the man got to where he was to alight, he told the driver he was paying for two, another passenger asked that he should pay for three rather and so instead of paying for three, the man decided to pay for all the passengers in the taxi. Quite generous right? To even think the transport fare was twice the normal price and with things being a bit tough these days.
Some may think it's a show-off but from the man's attitude, it really wasn't a show-off or so. It was generosity on my part but everyone is free to give their opinion about things so this is my own opinion.

That was by the way. It's the Lord's Day beloved, I trust we will take our time to worship the Almighty God today and fellowship with the brethren.
It's already the last month in 2021. It's been God all along, He has been the one that kept us, protected, and preserved us till this very day so he deserves all our praises and worship.
We should do well, to adore and honour his holy name.
For God has done great things for us and it's marvelous in our eyes.
