Alphabet Hunt: The letter U

This week's assigned Alphabet Letter is U.
It was a challenge for me to compile six U photos, however I do very much enjoy a good challenge.

Unknown
I have absolutely no clue what this little one eyed alien thing is hiding in the tall weeds.
Maybe there's no mystery here at all and it's simply a one eyed alien.
Most interesting though.
I couldn't resist taking a picture.
Looks like an alien seed pod or UFO.

UP
Big beautiful clouds up in the sky.
This photo was taken back in June. The corn hadn't been planted that long ago.
The corn in now very tall and ready to be harvested and farmers are busy doing just that.

Utensils
My daily eating utensils. Living alone you basically need just one spoon, one fork, one knife and one dish. Never many dishes to do around here 🤗.

Umbrella
For the first time in quite a while I actually had to use my umbrella the other day. Recieved some much needed heavy rain but still need more.
I decorated it with a few colorful Autumn leaves before taking a picture.

Underwear
My long warm underwear 😁 hung on the fence to dry. Taking advantage of a sunny day.
Some of the days now are chilly and cold. Especially in the early morning. Silky warm long underwear keeps me toasty warm.

U shaped horseshoes.
Legend has it you keep a horseshoe upright it will collect good luck and prevent misfortune.
I wonder if I will be one of the lucky 5 winners in this weeks draw 😊.

I like your Umbrella arrangement - suits perfect to the Autumn and your Underwear is cool. We call long underpants "Lovekillers", but the design of these is nice 😉
Wow, there's quite a difference in the size of these horseshoes.

The trees are so beautiful with the Autumn leaves.
My umbrella isn't that exciting so I thought a few coulourful leaves would help 🍁🍂.
They are called long underpants here too and Long
John's as well as long underwear. This pair is light weight. I have some really heavy ones for when it's frigid cold...😖.

Our trees haven't changed colors very much yet, but soon the forests will be very colourful.
The idea with the leaves was great 😊

I have only black ones, but I love to wear them in winter when I go hiking or even for walks sometimes 😉

Really nice captures as always my dear ! This pod in the middle of the branch is really weird indeed, but I agree with you : probably something about Alien 😁

You do have already such beautiful fall leaves ! here we do not have them very colored for now, it will come later..

What an interesting and lovely U-hunt @annephilbrick! That Unknown object certainly looks like it belongs to another planet, and the colours of the autumn leaves too gorgeous, nature certainly is amazing!

Great choices. Love how you showcased the umbrella. You certainly had a successful U hunt Annie.

This is the second time I’ve seen underwear used...in the contest, 😃

@johannpiber and I were joking back and forth and wondering if underwear would be used for the V.

I think he was looking for something else - perhaps a g-string.🤣

I had fun getting creative with the umbrella..☂️😊.
Underwear was the first U word I thought of.
I didn't want to post a picture of my sexy little panties..🤣😄. I thought the long underwear would be far less stimulating..🤣😄🤣.
The g-string has a V shape.
🤔 Darn...I don't have a pair g- string underwear. A perfect V entry for the upcoming hunt...😉😄.
Surely you must have a pair or two tucked away in your lingerie drawer...🤣🤣❤

Haha Annie. I typed V for underwear in my comment but I meant U. You are correct that g-string has a V shape. Unfortunately I don’t have any left from my younger wilder days. LOL
