Relax and Review With Me - AlphabetHunt for "R"
It's another week of #AlphabetHunt, and now it's already a hunt for R.
Here's my collection.
RAINBOW
It's not everyday that I get to see a "perfect" rainbow, but I would say I saw one. Maybe it will be once in a lifetime so I cherish this photo.
We were on the road, and we have to stop to take a snap. Glad I'm in a private vehicle. I just asked my husband to pull over, or else this rare chance had slipped before me.
ROOSTER
I was walking in the neighborhood this morning when I spotted this rooster roaming around. What a coincidence! And a cellphone comes in handy!
ROSAL
Rosal is a dainty, fragrant flower of the Philippines. It doesn't belong to the rose family, but it is also a shrub and quite looks like a rose, though it doesn't have thorns.
I love the scent of rosal. It is especially fragrant at night.
REPTILES
We visited Manila Ocean Park the other year and one of their attraction is the "world of reptiles and crawling crawlies."
We see different ones--snakes, lizards. Scary I would say. But it's very educational for our little one, so it's worth going this area.
ROOT CROPS
These are the roots crops produced from our garden. We grow and harvest cassava and sweet potato (and we also have taro but its not in the picture).
Boiled cassava/sweet potato is the easiest way to enjoy them. But there are endless ways of preparing them, so we always have these crops in our garden.
RESTAURANT
This is one of the chic restaurant in our city. I love this restaurant because of it's witty menu, aside from its cozy atmosphere. Their menu includes "Pork Bidden Love," "Steak to One," "Fish Be With You," and many other captivating names.
They also have witty sayings here and there.
And they serve the yummiest "halo-halo," an infamous Filipino dessert, which means "mix-mix" if translated literally.
RELAX
As a bonus, let me add this small guy relaxing in his own small chair... 😁😂

Wonderful post @gingbabida ! Though i was disgusted by the enormous white snake (I'm scared of snakes indeed, and I suppose they will come back a lot in the next letter 🤣)
This restaurant is my kind of place, Love it !! We have a lot of restaurant in France these last years that try to be original and fancy, I love that, and this one is colorful, cheerful an creative ! ❤️

Yes, the restaurant is a cheerful place. The owner first set it up after Supertyphoon Haiyan devasted our place, hoping to cheer the people up. And it worked! After six years, it's still there, and continues to expand. They also have a different theme each month, so the place continuously changes. ❤
These are fabulous! I have so much love for the alphabet hunt! It is the latest craze! Everybody is doing it! I love it when I see the rogue chicken or rooster around, it makes me smile thinking about the free dinner!

Oh! That's great! 😍 Wooooow! That would really be for free! Haha! 😍😮 Here, there are owners of chickens, though some just let it wander for food. So even if it would fly to your property, technically it is still stealing if you take it. Hahaha! 🤣😂
Exactly!!! These chickens free range all over town and even lay eggs in the bushes, then one day, you see a flock of chicks! It is so funny to see!
I have to wonder how many of these have made it to someone's soup pot? LOL
Oh wow! 😍 A wandering flock of chicks is an awesome sight. We see those here too. I love them. But when afternoon comes, the owner calls them, and they go home.
I think it's the same here. The only difference is that the free range chickens here have owners. 😊 They feed them during mornings and afternoons, the rest of the day, they are left to go about for food.

Yeah the rainbow stood out of all and it's perfect you used it as the first image. By the way why it's rare to see roaster in your place? It's your neighbourhood doesn't own chickens?
Yes, we live in a subdivision that doesn't allow to raise chicken, except maybe if they are caged? 😬 They allow pets, like dogs and cats, but they are not free to roam around. They have to be on leash. 😢 It's quite daunting, but relatively peaceful. Hehehe. 😂😂😂
Those chickens, I believe, are raised by the caretaker of an ongoing construction, not the homeowners themselves. 😬

Very fruitful hunt. Some of your words like Rooster and Rainbows I planned on using but didn't have good photos. Your Rainbow is just what you said it is. A once in a lifetime picture. Very very beautiful. And the sea even added drama to the lovely pic. My wife has a Rosal plant in her garden but unfortunately it didn't have any flowers but that is one lovely shot of the flower. Reptile and Restaurant are really good words too. Congrats to your completion of the R hunt. See you in the S.
