Last Sunday was Singapore's National Day. I woke up to a nice morning which was my day off.
上周日是新加坡的国庆日。在我的休息日醒来的时候，天气晴朗。

My wife and I went to the Lorong 1 Toa Payoh after finish some housework to see the mobile column which is a parade of the armoured vehicles going into our heartlands. Unfortunately, we arrived too late. So, I make the best of time and squatted to take this photo.
我的太太做些家务后去了大巴窑1巷。本想看看武装部队的装甲车游行。不幸的是，我们来得太晚了。所以，只好利用时间，蹲着拍这张照片。
Then went back to where I parked my car walking through the covered walkway which was decorated.
然后又回到这里我把车停在步行通过被盖的走道这是装饰。
After that, we had ramen for lunch. Details of that in a previous posts.
之后，我们午饭吃了日本拉面。那故事在之前的帖有更详细介绍。
After lunch, we walked to Raffles City and saw this merlion displayed inside the Robinsons store.
午餐后，我们走到来福士广场，看到这罗敏申百货的展示是个鱼尾狮。
We went into Raffles City Shopping Centre to take a walk. Robinsons store seem to be having a sale but wasn't crowded inside.
我们走进来福士广场。罗敏申百货好像有促销但里面也不是很多人。
The cafe in the basement was crowded enough.
地底层的咖啡馆里就够多人了。
Quite surprised to find this Din Tai Fung not crowded on a Saturday afternoon.
想不到着鼎泰丰在一个星期六的下午不是排长龙。
Bee Cheng Hiang is already selling mooncakes for mid-autumn festival.
美珍香已经开始卖月饼了。
Passed by this stall and my lady said she wanted to buy some egg tarts. I recognized the name. It was the same egg tart a good man at the current work place bought for my colleagues and I a few times.
经过这摊位，太太说她想买一些蛋挞。我认出名字。这是有位同事买来请我们同事吃过几次的
She told them 2 of these and 2 of that.
她告诉他们要两个这个和两个那个。
Plus one more box of original egg tarts. They landed at the inlaw's table in the kitchen next to the eggs.
还有一盒原味蛋挞。带回去岳父母家摆在他们在鸡蛋厨旁边。
Here are the char siew pie and durian egg tarts which tasted OK but...
这是叉烧馅饼和榴莲味蛋挞，味道OK但是。。。
... I still prefer the orginal ones.
......我还是喜欢原味的。
