DRIVING HOME BEFORE THE RAIN (WHAT I SHOT ON MY WAY TO THE PORT)
This is the prequel to my previous, Sublime Sunday post ...
... in this series of driving POV shots, you'll see what I saw on the road ...
... from the suburbs of Pula to the point where the previous story begins, not where its first images and sentences are :D but where it really starts ...
... I shot a nice variety of cars and only one person ...
... at this point, with McDonald's in sight, I was just driving home, eager to leave the city behind and sit myself in the chair in front of the PC ...
... some days I just get tired of the city very fast ...
... even if the city is so small ... Pula has about 60000 inhabitants ...
... and since the virus is still active, these inhabitants don't form large crowds ... but still ...
... I'm a small town creature ... a meadow man ... or something like that :D, so I can't stand these urban environments for longer than a few hours. Here I'm driving by the church ... I mean, can you believe it? It looks like some garage or storage area ... is one of those ugly suburban churches, made of big blocks of concrete, or something similar ... and I'm not saying that all modern churches look like divine shit, I saw some very interesting architecture in various cities and in the city of Pula as well ... but this one is just ugly, it lacks everything that could make a building interesting, elegant or meaningful ... I'll show you the damn thing in some future post :) I promise, the Jehovah is my witness ... I could say that God is my witness, but Jehovah sounded better and kind of ambiguous with Jehova's witnesses still around, waiting for the imminent end of this imperfect world as we know it ... hm' but maybe I'm wrong, maybe the end happened some months ago, and they all flew away, that's why I don't see them selling The Watchtower Magazine on the corners of the old town.
Here I'm approaching the last suburban neighborhood on this road ... and on the following shot ...
... I'm out of the city ...
... still unaware that this drive won't bring me home, I mean - not directly ...
... here I'm approaching the large roundabout, more or less halfway between my hometown and the city of Pula ...
... then I'm taking the road to Medulin, the place where I live ...
... I'm following the straight white lines that lead deep into the picture ... and then ...
... I have to stop by the small road that leads to some village, the point where I'm standing on this photograph, is more or less the vanishing point of the previous shot ... and here ...
... I decided to go to some nice seaside place with a wide open view and watch the clouds roll ... the sky turn dark ... and all that stuff you saw in the previous, Sublime Sunday post.
As always in these prequels on HIVE, the photographs are my work.
There were a lot of numbers of clouds in the sky.

Thank you @borjan
Thanks. :) Glad you like this weather report from my area
I totally get your feelings about urban environments! Give me the meadows and other wild spaces! :)
Always :)
Looks like you are getting a heavy storm.
It looked pretty heavy ... but ended up with just an hour of rain and some moderate wind :) It often happens in this period of the year.
